Chapter Seven

Roman and I were sitting at the counter with Jordan when there was a knock at the door. I kept on feeding Jordan as Roman went and answered the door. When he came back he had Seth in tow. Ignoring him, I kept feeding Jordan. He said, "Who's this little one?"
As I went to answer, Roman said, "She's mine."
Seth replied, "Oh, didn't realize you and Galina had another one."
"Yeah well, you did leave us," I said.
He sighed, "Yeah, you're right, I did. And I regret it everyday."
Dean came walking in, looking between me and Seth, I shook my head no, my eyes flickering to Roman. Dean nodded behind Seths back, and I stood, walking over to him. He pulled me into the living room, "I thought you were going to tell him?"
"Roman told him she's his and Galinas."
"Shit. What are you going to do about it?"
"I don't know, but now this complicates things even more especially if he's around her. I so much want to just be with Jordan, now I don't know if I can be, without him figuring it out," I said, as tears streamed down my face.
Galina came into the living room with Joelle, and upon seeing my face, she said, "He's here isn't he? What happened?"
Dean filled them in, and Galina hurried into the kitchen to grab Jordan. But when she came back in, Seth was carrying her. My heart sank, looking towards Roman, his head went down. He walked over to me and said, "He already knew, he heard us that night."
Backing away from Seth, he said, "Dani, I'm so sorry, if I would've known I never would have betrayed you."
"But you did, you left us, you didn't even bother caring about us enough."
"Dammit Dani, I've always loved you, I wanted to provide for you."
"And all I wanted was to be a family with you, and you ruined that."
"Dani, just give him a chance to explain," Galina said.
"He doesn't deserve that, and he has no right touching my daughter," I said, snatching Jordan out of his arms, backing away from everyone, "he's only doing this for the Authority."
Cradling Jordan to me, letting the tears fall, Dean embraced me, "Its ok Dani, I've got you. I'll protect you both."
"Get the fuck away from my daughter," Seth said.
I rounded on him, "No you listen here Rollins, you get the hell away from us, if I ever catch you or another Authority member anywhere near my daughter, so help me god, I will kill you."
Galina grabbed me, and took me out of the room, Dean following behind, as I heard Roman say, "Look, I know you have every right to know your daughter, but you hurt her really bad man. Just do her a favor right now and stay away. If you really want to know your daughter, you'll give Dani some space right now."
"Roman, I know you mean well, but that's my daughter dammit. I'm not going to just back down and let more time go by without her. I royally fucked up with Dani, and I know I can't make things right with her, but I can with Jordan."
I sunk to the ground, cradling Jordan to me, as the last years worth of tears flowed, as Deans arms wrapped around from behind me. Galina eventually took Jordan out of my arms, and went back to Roman and Seth.
