Chapter Fifteen

As Dani and I started bonding over Jordan, Dean and Dani grew closer. One day when I came to bring Jordan back after spending the afternoon with her, they were in the middle of the living room, clothes strewn everywhere, Dean pounding into her. I nearly dropped Jordan when I saw them. Dani scurried to grab her stuff, as Dean smiled sheepishly at me. "Shit, sorry man, should've warned you."
"It's fine, nothing I haven't seen before," I replied, my heart sinking. Dean left shortly after, Dani's cheeks still flushed from awkwardness. "Dani, it's fine, you and Dean are good together. He suits you."
She looked away, mumbling, "But he's not you."
"Dani, what do I have to do to prove to you that I love you and Jordan?"
"You already have just by sticking around for her," Dani said.
When I got ready to leave, Dani threw her arms around me. "I love you Rollins."
"I love you too Reigns."
"Stay here tonight," she said.
I almost accepted but then said, "Dani, I think we need to take things slow, we both have a lot to get through in our lives, and I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable."
She held onto me tighter, gripping my shirt, as I went to pull away, she pressed her mouth to mine. Lifting her into my arms, I carried her to the couch. Sitting her on my lap, I pulled her flush against me, my cock straining against my jeans.
"Fuck me Seth, please, I need you."
"Dani, I want you more than anything, but we can't. You will only regret this."
"Seth, please, please don't leave us again."
"Sweet cheeks, I'm going to fix things for us, and I promise I will never leave you and Jordan again."

"And I you, but Dani, we need to fix our relationship first, plus I don't want you to regret this especially now that we have Jordan to worry about."
"Seth, why do you always push me away? Am I not good enough for you?" She said.
Sitting bolt upright, I realized that had all been a dream. Reality sinking in, if I didn't get out of the Authority, I would lose them completely. At that moment my phone rang, "Dani, what's up? It's 3 am."
"Seth, it Jordan, she's in the hospital."
"What? No, where at, I'll be right there, just hang on baby."
"Hurry Seth, she's been throwing up a lot."
"Is anyone there with you?"
"Yeah, Roman."
"Let me talk to him."
"Seth, yeah, it's Roman, the doctor said Jordan's dehydrated, some flu bug that's going around."
"I'll be there in about ten, just do me a favor and get Dani to calm down, I'll be there to help her soon."
"Alright man, see you when you get here, we are on the third floor, room 369."
"Ok thanks."
Grabbing my keys, I ran to my car, flooring it until I pulled into the hospital parking lot, sprinting to the room. As soon as I got there, Dani flew into my arms. Tears streaming down her face. "Shh baby, I'm here, I've got you. Jordan will be fine, she's a fighter, just like her momma."
Her arms remained around me, as her sobbing faded. Gently pulling her arms from around my neck, I guided her over to Jordan's crib. She was sound asleep, as I stood there stroking her hot cheeks, I looked over at Dani, who had walked up to the crib. She laid her head on my shoulder, saying, "She's a fighter just like you too, you know."
"I love you still, thank you for letting me into her life Dani."
I saw her bite her lip, something she only did when she was scared to tell me something. "Dani, what is it? Tell me baby."
"I love you, and I want to be with you."
"I know baby, but the only way we can is if we destroy the Authority together. With our brothers."
"What about Jordan? How do we protect her?"
"They won't touch her since she's mine, but the moment I leave them, I want you and Jordan to go home. I don't want you two in the crossfires. The Shield will take them down as we should have done a long time ago."
I brought my hand up to her cheek, caressing her face, running my thumb along her mouth, as her lips parted. Capturing her mouth in a passionate, heated kiss, leaving us both breathless, standing there with our heads together, as Roman, Galina, and Dean walked in.
"Dean..." Dani started to say.
"Hey it's ok, I knew you would eventually go back to him, you two are meant to be, even if he was an idiot in the first place."
"So where's this leave us?" Roman asked.
"We're taking down the Authority," I said.
