I was rummaging through the stock of a baby's store downtown, looking for more cloths for my son. I found light green socks and overalls and I couldn't resist purchasing stuff in my favorite color.

"I think this one is cute," Oliver raised a beanie with pink hearts covering it. He was smiling. Like always.

"I'm pregnant with a boy," I stated for the twelfth time since we stepped in the store.

"Right," he snorted before putting it in his shopping basket.

"Why do you have a basket, dude?" I laughed as I passed him and stared at the next rack.

"For my future daughter," he looked down, admiring his choices. "Maybe I won't find stuff as cute later when she comes."

"That's very thoughtful." Oliver was cute. Oliver was goals.

"Yeah, I know," he started to walk to the counter. "She'll charm your son, Bumps."

"My son won't look at her," I followed him, mentally calculating the price of everything I took.

"Dear, your son wouldn't see anything aside from her."
