I couldn't wait any longer inside the locked space of my car so I decided to turn off the engine and step outside.
Aven took so long and I'm not waiting any longer. I can't.
I walked with careful steps to the narrow door of the same building Aven came in from. I don't think he wanted me to see that but I purposely drived forward to check on him.
Muffled voices were heard from different rooms, but doors were open and they were all empty.
I kept walking randomly until I saw light creeping from under one of the closed doors. It peeked my interested.
"Fuck you all!" I heard Aven's voice booming. I stepped away a little. "You ruined all of this!"
"You weren't clear with your orders," another voice said. I didn't recognise it.
Whispers.
"What am I going to tell her now?!"
"Calm down. It's not a big deal, Aven."
More whispers.
"I paid you grands to kidnap him, morons, not to fucking kill him!"
My chest crashed.
And so as that closed door.
