Aven was to be forever behind bars. Not necessarily forever but long enough for me to forget how his face looks like and how he felt around me. Hard but possible.
"Now you're free to meet new guys. I never liked Aven actually," my new friend, Sophia, said.
"You never met him, Soph," I started frosting the cupcakes.
"I know him enough from what I heard," she began helping me. "Terrible, in my opinion."
"He was loving in the beginning."
"All of them are," she put a whole cupcake in her mouth. Wow. "Shit get real with time."
My head nodded.
"Just be careful. Males are awful creations." I laughed at her. "You can be in love with my brother though, he's adorable."
"Name?"
"Ibrahim."
"Nice name, and does he looks like you?"
"An Arab father, Italian mother," she was into the third cupcake by now. "We have so much beauty as you can see."
"Shut up, please," I smiled.
"I hope you'll be always happy," her smile was sad. Hiding something.
"I hope so too. Now stop eating we don't have much left."
