"You're a mother now!" Oliver cheered the second I stepped inside the restaurant. It's the millionth time he had said that since last week.
"Yes I am," I couldn't hide the fact that I was actually really excited myself.
"Now I won't be your priority anymore--"
The door opened and the rings all chirped like birds when a new customer was here.
I turned only to be met by Hunter strolling inside, his eyes fixated on mine.
Shit.

"Hey, Pearl," he waved to me like seeing me was something normal. I stood dead in my place.
He walked closer to where I was standing before turning his attention to Oliver, and who might I add, was freaking out internally.
"Can I have the breakfast pancakes?" He asked and I almost chocked on my siliva. This brings back way too much memories.
"Yes sir, have a seat. It'll be ready in ten minutes."
"Thank you," he gave a single nod and made his way to a table directly facing the counter.
His eyes still on me.
The ring from his promise to Hannah , gone.
