Breakups (Daithi De Nogla)

My boyfriend of a year and I broke up a few months ago. Everywhere I go, something reminds me of him. I needed to get out of here so I could move on. I called my best friend, (y/bfn), so I could tell her my plan.

"Hello?" (Y/bfn) asked.

"Hey." I said.

"Are you still sad?" She asked me.

She knew all about me and (r/bn) (random boy name). She's tried to help me be happy but nothing she does ever works.

"Yeah, but I think that it's because I'm staying in the same place that we did everything together." I explained.

"So what are you thinking?" She asked.

"I'm thinking about moving to Boston. I'm going to already be down there for PAX East so I figured that I'd stay."

"What about your family and friends?" She asked.

"I can call or text y'all." I answered.

"Is that what you really think will help you get over (r/bn)?"

"I hope." I said.

"Well I'm not going to stop you then." She said.

I hung up the phone and started packing my things. Once everything was packed, I went to the airport and boarded my plane.

I went into my hotel room and started getting ready for PAX. I was hoping to see some of my favorite YouTubers, Vanoss and his friends. I love their videos and today I will finally be able to see them. I curled my hair and let my bangs swoop to one side. I grabbed my glasses and headed for PAX. When I got inside, I saw a lot of people. Everyone was gathered around different booths. I decided to look around since it was my first time being there. I was walking past a booth when someone bumped into me, making me bump into someone else.

"Watch it." I heard someone say.

I turned around to see I Am Wildcat, signing something for a fan. Everyone was with him except Nogla and Delirious.

"I'm sorry." I apologized.

"Be more careful..." he looked up at me and said, "Holy shit. It's the girl version of Mini."

"Wow." Mini Ladd said as he looked at me. "Can I get a picture?"

"I thought I was the one that was supposed to ask for pictures." I said.

Mini laughed and handed his phone to Vanoss. I posed and smiled for the picture.

Once Vanoss took the picture, I asked, "Where's..."

"Delirious?" Wildcat interrupted.

"No. He doesn't want to do a face reveal so of course he isn't here, but where's Nogla?" I asked.

"He's here but he's being a little bitch about his girlfriend breaking up with him, so he decided to stay in the room." BasicallyIDoWrk told me.

"Aw, him and Berenice broke up?" I asked.

Hearing that hurt my feels.

"Yeah, like a month ago." Lui said.

"Maybe he's still heartbroken." I said, sticking up for Nogla.

"Or maybe he's just a bitch." Basically said.

"Or maybe you guys are just totally clueless about the fact that heartbreak hurts and it takes forever to get over it." I said as I started to get mad.

I started thinking about (r/bn) and how much he hurt me. All the guys looked at me.

"I know how he feels. My boyfriend and I broke up a couple of months ago and I'm still heartbroken. That's why I'm living in Boston now. I had to get away from everything."
