Biggest Fear (VanossGaming)

Today is Halloween. Not only does it mean costumes and candy, but also pranks from Evan. Every year, he finds a new way to scare me.

"Hey (y/n). You ready to go to Jon's party?" I heard Evan call from downstairs.

"Yeah!" I shout and rushed down the stairs.

Once I was in the living room, I saw Evan dressed like a zombie.

"I thought I smelt decaying flesh." I said, causing him to face me.

"Brains." He said as he started to walk towards me like a zombie.

He got close to me and grabbed my head.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

Evan sniffed my head and said, "No brains."

"Rude." I said.

We made our way outside. There were little kids dressed up everywhere.

"Aren't you excited for Jon's Halloween party?" Evan asked.

"Of course. I'm so excited to be able to meet your friends." I said.

I heard someone walking close behind me. I ignored it and kept walking. Soon, I felt like someone was getting closer and closer to me. I squeezed Evan's hand.

"Everything alright, (y/n)?" He asked.

"I feel like we're being followed." I whispered.

Evan smiled somewhat in joy and said, "It's Jon. Turn around."

I did as I was told and turned around I was greeted by my biggest fear: a clown. Jon had on a scary clown mask and a knife pointed right at me. I screamed and hid behind Evan. He and Jon just laughed.

"You should've seen the look on your face." Evan said between laughs.

Tears started to roll down my face. Evan tried to comfort me but I pushed him away.

"How could you?!" I shouted at him. "I told you my biggest fear and you used it to scare me?!"

"(Y/n), it was just a joke." Evan said as he tried to wipe away my tears.

"You're a dick, Evan Fong!" I yelled and ran away.

Evan's POV

"You're a dick, Evan Fong!" (Y/n) yelled and ran away.

I stood there with Jon. He took off the clown mask and looked at me.

"Go on, Evan." Jon said. "I'll tell the guys that you couldn't make it."

I nodded and ran off towards my house. I walked inside and tried to open the bedroom door, but it was locked. I heard (y/n) crying.

"(Y/n), please open the door." I said calmly.

"Go away." She said between sobs.

"Please, (y/n). It was just a joke." I said.

"You used my biggest fear against me, Evan. That's some kind of joke." She said.

I heard her shuffle away from the door.

"Can I come in and go to bed?" I asked.

"No. You're sleeping on the couch tonight." She answered.

"Can I at least get some pajamas?" I asked.

"No." She answered.

The lights in our bedroom turned off and I heard the bed squeak. I slid down the door.

"It was just a stupid joke." I whispered.

(Y/n) POV

I woke up the next morning to an empty bed. My cheeks were stained with dry tears. I walked into the living room and saw Evan in an uncomfortable position on the couch. I crept passed him and into the kitchen. As I opened the fridge, I felt strong arms grab me from behind.

"(Y/n), I am so sorry about last night. It was a stupid joke and I shouldn't have done it." Evan said.

I turned to face him and said, "I don't think I can forgive you this soon, Evan. You used my biggest fear against me. What kind of boyfriend does that?"

I escaped his grasp and headed back to the bedroom.

"Would it help if I let you use my biggest fear against me?" He asked.

I stopped walking and looked at Evan. He was actually serious.

"Maybe." I answered.

Evan sat on the couch and prepared himself.

I took in a deep breath and said, "Evan, I'm breaking up with you. I never even loved you. I'm going upstairs to pack my things and leave. I never want to see you again."

I stopped when I heard Evan sniffle. He looked up at me. His eyes were red and his cheeks had tears rolling down them.

"Can you forgive me now?" He asked between sobs.

"Yes." I answered.

Evan pulled me into a hug and held me tight. I could feel his wet tears fall on my shirt. He was still crying. He pulled away and looked me in the face.

"Please promise me that those words will never come out of your mouth again." He said with pain still in his voice.

"I promise." I said.

Evan kissed me then embraced me again. I love him too much to ever leave him. No matter what he does.
