I'm sure that yesterday was Friday, why is it that the weekend passes by so fast? I guess that when you're having fun, time flies without you realizing it.

I got up from my comfortable bed, yawning and stretching. It was a Monday morning, which reminded me that I had a whole new week ahead. I took a quick shower, straightened my hair and went for a pair of leggings and a white t shirt.

Today I didn't have to ride Alex to school. He got the flu two days ago and he's still ill. Mum said she was going to take care of him while I wasn't home.

I walked up to his bedroom to check on him, but he looked so peaceful sleeping in his star wars bed covers. I gave him a quick kiss on the forehead to then head downstairs for breakfast.

I studied attentively the fridge, unsure  what to pick, but then I decided to make myself some toast accompanied by a glass of oranje juice.

After finishing my breakfast, I picked up my car keys and stepped outside, but I quickly returned inside to put my leather jacket on since it was quite chilly. It was late October and you could already see the leaves starting to fall, so catching a cold for being reckless wasn't on my mind right now.

I arrived at school fifteen minutes later and I could see Emily's car already parked in it's usual spot. The bell still hadn't rang so I decided to clean my locker up before heading to class.

While I was taking out my first period book, my locker was pushed shut by someone, making me jump in surprise. I turned to my left to see a very angry Chanel, but I couldn't keep myself from laughing once I saw what she was wearing.

"What are you wearing?" I asked her with tears in my eyes.

"Yeah, yeah, laugh until you can!" She said with annoyance.

She was wearing a t-shirt with written "the bags under my eyes are Prada".

C'mon, how can you not laugh at something like that?

"Like to tell me the reason why you slammed my locker like that? And why you've got that expression on your face?" I asked curious.

"It's Edward!!" She replied.

"What about him?"

"He asked me on a date.."

"Aaand?"

"And I'm in deep shit because his parents will be there judging every single detail!!" She said exasperated.

"Oookay, so it's sort of serious?" I asked confused.

"NO! IT'S A FREAKING NIGHTMARE!!", "I've passed all night thinking of what to wear!"

"Chanel are you sure about all this royal situation? Can't you just find someone, you know, more.. normal?" I tried asking, even if it was useless.

"You're joking right? Tell me you just didn't say the word normal in a sentence that includes me?" She asked shocked.

"No, I know you're not normal, but, I don't know, this prince or whatever he is, just doesn't sound right, you deserve much more than some stupid title.. think about it" I shrugged.

"Nono you don't understand! This is my dream!"

The bell rung, interrupting our conversation and I really couldn't be late to class, I didn't need another detention.

"I'm sorry to leave you like this Chanel, but you're find a way. And for your outfit it's not a big deal, you'll look beautiful in whatever you choose to wear. And if they don't accept you for what you are, it's their lost!" I tried to comfort her.
