"WE'RE FINALLY FREE!!" I exclaimed, walking out of the school's door entrance.
"Well, that wasn't bad for a Chemistry examination day" Chanel chuckled next to me.
"Yeah you're right, we so suck in that subject, it's surprising how we've survived so far"
"So do you need a ride home since we've carpooled with Em this morning?" Chanel proposed.
"Nope, I'm fine thanks, I already have one"
"Ooookay, have I been missing on something?" She asked confused.
"Oh no, nothing important.. just Dylan offering to ride me back home after school" I waved her off.
"So this is how it's going to be huh? You ditching me for your new boyfriend? I'm losing points here" she said joking.
"You know you'll always be my first bitch!" I said giving her a peck on the cheek. "But, I got to go, I don't want Dylan waiting for me, see you soon blondie!!"
"Have fun!!", "and be careful, I'm still too young to become an auntie!" She added laughing.
I just rolled my eyes at her statement and turned around to start walking in the direction where Dylan's car was parked.
"Hey" I waved shyly when I saw him leaning against his car talking to one of his friends.
"Hey " he said smiling back, "this is Shawn, his my best mate".
"Nice to meet you Shawn, I'm Sophie" I introduced myself.
"Oh I know very well who you are Sophie Woods" he replied smirking after shacking my hand.
That was creepy, but probably Dylan talked a lot about me so that's the reason why he knows me so well.
"I should get going, see you soon Sophie", "Oh and Dylan you know what to do" he added before getting in his car and speeding out of the parking lot.
"He seems cool" I said sarcastically.
"Don't think about him, he's an idiot" Dylan added clenching his jaw.
"Dylan are you okay?" I asked getting in the passenger seat.
"Yeah, everything is fine" he replied starting the car engine.
I got that as a sign to not push the subject any further. Whatever reason there was behind Dylan's reaction, it was something between him and Shawn, so it was none of my business.
Fifteen minutes later we arrived home. The car had been filled with silence, Dylan hadn't said a word since he talked to Shawn and he seemed deep in thought the whole ride.
"Ehm.. do you want to come in?" I tried asking him.
"Sure, why not?" He replied smiling.
Wow is this guy bipolar?
"You can sit on the couch or put the tv on while I prepare some sandwiches" I told him heading towards the kitchen.
After I made tuna sandwiches and poured some orange juice in two glasses, I went back to where Dylan was, handling him his food.
"Thanks" he said politely before giving a huge bite.
"You know... you've never told me anything about yourself.." he suddenly said.
"There's not much to say. What do you want to know?" I replied smiling, trying to hide my discomfort.
"I don't know... for example you've never said a word about your family"
