A few days have passed, and I'm starting to feel like Ethan and I are becoming closer. Which is also making my feelings for him grow a bit stronger... It sucks being where I am right now cause I'm still with Sam and I still love him. But hopefully the future might change soon.

Sam isn't that much on my case about me hanging with Ethan a lot, but he is at some points. But I just hope he would settle down a bit about it. Also, Ethan and I have been tutoring almost everyday after school after his football practice over each other's houses.

Today, Ethan texted me about coming over my house this time. That also reminds me that we've been texting nonstop ever since we've switched numbers. I'm really liking it, since our friendship is getting bigger each time it gets.

Once Ethan texted me back saying he was coming over in a few minutes, I left my room, heading for downstairs. My parents got home a bit earlier this time from work, so that means they're gunna have to meet Ethan. I'm a bit scared for it, but not that much. "Hey mom," I said entering the kitchen.

I found my mom on the island, with her eyes glued on her laptop. "Hi sweetie," she replied, giving a smile once she looked up at me for a moment. "How's everything going?"

"Good," I answered. "I actually have a friend coming over to do some homework."

"Oh, who?" she asked looking up at me. "Grace? Rachel? Avery?" she asked naming my few friends. "Or is it Sam?"

"No, it's actually a friend I met earlier this year when school started," I explained. "His name's Ethan."

"Oh, okay," was all she said. She took a few moments to reply before she said, "It's a boy who's your friend?"

"Yeah," I nodded a bit nervously. "Is it okay?"

"Of course honey," she said with a sweet smile. "It's nice how you've made a new friend." I looked down smiling a little, until she asked, "When's he coming over?"

Right at that moment, I heard a knock on the door. "Right now," I said slightly giggling, and she just smiled. I turned around heading to the front door, and I felt my mom following behind me. But I then saw my dad at the door, and I then started rushing to the door before he could open it. But of course, he opened it before I could make it, and he looked a bit surprised once he did. Once I finally reached to him, I held onto my dad a bit breathlessly, saying, "Hey," towards Ethan, who looked a bit awkward behind the door.

He replied with, "Hey," right back to me with a smile.

I then looked towards my dad, who looked confused. "Dad, this is my friend Ethan," I told him. "We're gunna be working on homework for school."

"Oh, okay," my dad said. "Come in," he greeted. We moved out of the way, and let Ethan come inside.

"It's nice to meet you Mr. and Mrs. Pierce," Ethan said while shaking my parents hands.

"Please, call me Paul," my dad said with a smile while shaking his hand.

"And just call me Katherine," my mom smiled while doing the same thing. (A/N: TVD ANYONE?!?!😍😂). "We don't wanna be one of those snobby parents who want to be called by their last names," my mom laughed, and so did my dad.

I noticed that Ethan laughed too, and I just laughed a bit awkwardly. "Okay mom," I said laughing a little, mainly in a tone telling her to stop.

"Yeah, so why'd you come so late son?" my dad asked. "Only coming for the food for dinner that's in a few?" my dad and Ethan laughed, and I just face palmed myself since my parents are so embarrassing right now.
