Hey! I haven't wrote a chapter in a while! Hope you guys enjoy. Feel free to give me feedback and suggestions. It really helps out. :)
After I came back from the cafeteria I sat in my room and procrastinated from my homework. All I could think about was him. He was so perfect. His dark hair that was always amazing. His bright blue eyes filled with so much optimism. He's mouth that formed a smiled whenever he saw me. His voice seemed like honey dripping. "He's perfect!" I gushed hugging my pillow.
"I bet he is," Hoshi pouted from a corner.
"Hoshi, calm down. He's not scum. He's a perfect prince!"
"The prince of fire. Fire destroys everything! Water heals. You two are the complete opposite, don't you get it? The only reason he's being so nice to you is probably so that he can be Satan's spy. He has to keep an eye out for you because otherwise Satan's going to most likely be overrun by the other princes!"
"Hoshi, stop it!"
"No, I have to keep you safe!"
"You don't have to do anything!"
Hoshi had grown higher throughout the argument. He looked down at me, turned around, shrank and jumped through my open window. He usually stayed by my side at night. He kept me safe, and now I felt horrible. He was always so nice, always looking out for me. The more I thought about it, the more sense it made.
I finished my homework, even though I knew all the answers were wrong. There was no way that my brain could properly think.
I shuffled to my bed and got under my sheets. I started to feel the room get colder and colder and I embraced it. My sheets felt warm against my shivering body. I feel into a troubled slumber.
I woke up a few hour later and felt strangely alive. It felt like I could run a mile without getting tired. I felt like the warm sun was shining on my feet encouraging me to step outside. My head was filled with beautiful thoughts. Butterflies flying through a field filled with all sort of colorful splendid flowers. I could smell the sweet scent of roses and grass, and hear the mellow chirping of birds. I felt funny, like when a child receives an amazing gift from their parents. The joy that fills their hearts when they sit down and play with it. I've never felt such joy, but I would often such senerios falling asleep the night of my birthday each year.
A single glowing lighting bug flew into. The golden light filled the room with an eerie feeling of joy. It flew around my head and then toward the door as though it was beckoning me to follow it. I felt like I was in an enchanted daze. I felt like all my dreams could come true, the bug seemed magical. I felt my feet walking but it was like a part of me was left in the room. I felt like I was free from all my burdens.
I stepped outside. It was supposed to be cold, but it felt like a summer night. The stars twinkled unrealistically. I felt so happy. I began skipping after the source of my joy, the golden bug. We passed through the area surrounded by dorms and we made our way to a forest. My happiness was getting better and better. We stepped into the forest. I took one step, and the joy began to falter. Another, and another and the joy started fading more and more. Then the light went out as well as my joy.
The trees behind me knotted up. There was no escape. I insistently knew how wrong my actions had been. Reality crashed down on me like a wall. This was another trap. I was foolishly lead into another one. I heard a branch snap behind me. I turned around, but it was another trick. My back was turned toward my attacker. I felt weight upon my back and I fell. My knee felt like it was on fire, I looked down to see blood.
I looked at my foe and saw Hoshi. He was the size of a bear and he stood over me. A snarl was on the beasts face. A low growl filled the air.
"You stupid, stupid girl! How can anyone be so dumb? You already feel into one trap that my brother had planted. I must say, his was all based on luck. Had you not gone into the forest it woulden't even had worked. But, enough about him. This trap was all me. But, hahahaha! Man, you should've seen this one coming! I wasn't told that you'd be this pretty. I'm sure the boss would have kept you for himself had you not been a princess. He'll be glad if I'll kill you though."
