Chapter 17- It's Today?

I pulled away from him rapidly realizing what had happened in a realistic way.

"What do you mean, sealing the deal?" I asked wiping my mouth on my arm.

"You don't have to be so rude. I'm pretty sure hotstuff's never kissed you like that."

I blushed, "So what? It's not like it's any of your business."

"Well, I am your prisoner of passion now."

"What do you mean, prisoner of passion?" I exclaimed.

"Well, since you kissed me, you sealed me away and now I'm on your side."

"You can't be serious.All because of a kiss?"

"Believe it or not, being the only princess comes with succubus blood running through your veins."

"Yeah, but you princes are so powerful."

"We're just about on the save level."

"B-but."

"Listen, the other princes kissed you. They feel under the spell."

"I didn't do it on purpose."

"That's exactly what makes you powerful. By the way, who have you kissed?"

"You, Rin, and Amaimon."

"That's it?"

"Well, I'm not used to this sort of stuff. I barely know anything about demons, let alone all the princes."

"So, you're trying to say you only seduced three princes? It's kind of pathetic, really."

"I didn't seduce anyone, and I'll have you know I have four princes on my side."

"You just said that you kissed three."

"But Mephisto told me that he's on my side."

"Oh, you have all much to learn."

"What are you taking about?"

"Mephisto is a really tricky demon. He'll make you believe he's on your side, but he's a liar," he said angrily. A few ghosts moaned out in pain in the background.

"Did something happen?" I asked him.

"Lets just say that this body I'm possessing wasn't always me, but someone quite dear."

I stared at him silently. He was somehow different from Amaimon and Mephisto.

"Uhm, can we get my friends souls back in their bodies?"

He snapped out of whatever daze he was in and looked at me for a moment. "Yeah, all you do is take the souls and shove them in the bodies."

"That's it?"

I reached towards the floating orbs that I had "dropped."

"Hey, Kasumi."

"Yeah?" I asked him.

"I'll drop by sometime," he told me with a wink before he disappeared.

I sighed and carried the souls back to Rin and Hoshi. I carefully placed Rin's orb to his chest and pushed it in. There was a sucking noise and his hand relaxed from the grip on the sword.

"Woah, my arm really hurts. What happened?"

"Well, your souls were removed, lost, I had to find them, and I got the Spirit Prince on our side," I told him as I revived Hoshi.

"Princess!" Hoshi barked. "I feel funny."

"Oh, it's nothing. Let's go home." I quickly looked over at Rin. "Hey, I have to talk to you about something later."
