Other than the crackling of torches, the only thing I could hear was the constant clicking of my shoes against concrete. I kept my head down low to avoid attention. I even wore a black robe and slid the hood over my head to hide my face. Once I reached my destination i paused for a second.

The room was barley lit so I had to squint my eyes. In the distance I could make out five chairs fit for a king sitting side by side. Leaving my position at the entrance i crossed the room so I could stand in front of them. I immediately pulled my hood off my head and kneeled down upon approaching them.

"Elders."

"What is your reason for coming," the main elder in the middle waisted no time.

"It's about kaiden. He has told a human our secret,"I didn't have to lift my head up to see the shocked expressions on the elders faces.

"This is outrageous!"a female elder on the very end yelled out,"The human needs to be killed and kaiden needs to be punished!"

I then spoke up,"It'll be punishment enough if you killed the human. They seem to have a bond,"at that moment I looked up. They all wore baffled expressions.

"Very well then. Your excused,"the main elder dismissed.

I rose up from my position and spinned around while pulling my hood back up. A smirk began to creep onto my face. Normally I would have been happy to see the council finally punish kaiden. However, this time was different, this time he would be mine to punish. I will be the one to kill kaiden sinclair.

As I excited the building I pulled out my phone and called my personal clairvoyant. I grinded my teeth together as i waited for the old bat to pick up.

"Hello?"

"It is done,"I puffed out my chest and stated proudly.

She seemed to hesitate a moment. Something she did often when in deep thought.

"Then the war will be in your favor,"I hung up without warning.

I liked where this was going. Afterall, there was nothing like killing two birds with one stone.
