I wake up the next morning in the spare room at Toby's and his moms place.

I hear my phone vibrating. I reach down to the floor and pick it up. The caller ID reads 'Dad'.

I answer it.
"Hello ?" I say.
"Raff, there is a evening event down at the Scholfields Ball in two days, we're invited, you are to bring a date" my dad says.
"Seriously ?" I whine.
"Yes, you have today to find one" he says.
"Whatever" I huff.
"Be home by 10, you have 2 hours to get here so we can pick out a appropriate Tuxedo" he says.
"Uhuh, yep" I says.
"Be sure to invite your friends" he says and hangs up.

I put my phone back down and stretch. I get out of bed and change back into the clothes I wore yesterday. I wore Toby's sweatpants and his old shirt.

I put the clothes in the laundry basket in the hallway.

I walk into the kitchen.

No one is awake yet.

I grab a not pad from the kitchen fridge and pen on the table.

I write :

'Sorry I'm leaving unaware, but I have an evening event to participate at with my father and Aubree.

You're more than welcome to come along, I'll send over details about it later.

I put the note on the breadboard and walk down the stairs. I unlock the front door and lock it and walk out. I shut the door behind me and pull out my car keys. I walk over to my car and unlock it. I get in and shut the door. I start it and leave.

Should I ask Laylani to be my date at the ball ?

I walk out of my ensuite and I hear a vibrating noise from my bed side table. I walk over to it and it's my phone.

It's a 'No Caller ID'.

I decide to answer it anyway.
"Ah hello ?" I ask.
"Laylani ?" A familiar voice asks.
"Yes, who is this ?" I ask.
"John Connor, Raffaels dad" he says.
"How'd you get my number ?" I ask.
"I was looking through Raffs ensuite to find a band aid for Aubree and there was a note in one of his draws that has your number on it and your name" he chuckles.
"Oh ok.." I trail off.
"Anyway, there is an evening event in two days at the Scholfields Ball, I was wondering if you'd like to come along to watch Aubree while I co-host the event ?" He asks.
"Absolutely" I say.
"I'll pay you afterwards" he says.
"No, no, no, that is isn't necessary, being invited is a reward" I say.
"I insist, it's the least I could do to Thankyou" he says.
"Please, it's okay" I say.
"Lay, I insist" he says.
"As you wish, John" I say.
"Thankyou, Is it possible if you could come on by the mansion later today, around lunch preferably" he says.
"Your wish is my command" I say.
"Thankyou, good bye Laylani" he says.
"Thankyou and bye John" I say and he hangs up.

I'm actually really excited now. What am I going to wear ?!

I get to the Connors Mansion. Surprisingly enough I remember how to get there.

I hop out of Macie and lock her behind me. I walk up to the mansion and ring the door bell.

I hear shuffling behind the door and it suddenly opens causing me to flinch.
