James pov

I feel so guilty. They were clearly on a date and I totally gate crashed it. Michelle never would've done anything like that. I'm trying to win her back not push her further away. I have to apologise. There's no doubt about it. I also have to apologise to Alfie too.
I asked hunter about him and apparently he's involved with mechanics so I head over there now.
If Michelle knows I'm genuinely sorry, and if Alfie tells her that I apologised to him then maybe she'll actually see that I've changed.
I arrive at the garage and see Alfie working on a car.
No wonder she's fallen for him. That sounds creepy but it's true. He's attractive, seems like a genuine person.
"Can I help you?" My thoughts are interrupted when Alfie comes up to me.
"Yeah sorry" I say
"You looking for someone?" He questions. I can tell he's trying not to lash out on me. I ruined his date. I don't blame him.
"You actually, look I need to apologise for what I did the other night. It was uncalled for. I knew you were on a date and I shouldn't have interrupted or made things awkward"
He just looks at me with a dead face as he takes in my apology.
"Look, I know about yours and Michelle's history and I know how she really feels about you so or her sake, I'll accept your apology"
How she really feels about me? What does he mean?
"Thanks bro I honestly don't know what I was thinking I just love her-" I stop myself before I finish my comment. This guy has fallen for Michelle. I can't just devote my love for her Infront of him.
He gives me a questioned look.
"I know Michelle really likes you. Just wait she'll practically be begging at your feet for another date. Your a good guy for her. Better then me anyways"
"James, I'm sure you were great. Your intentions were terrible, but I do believe that you really loved her. Or else you wouldn't be here fighting for her"
This Alfie kid knows exactly what to say doesn't her.
"Thanks, but I need her to be happy. And she'll only be happy with you. Can you promise me you'll make her happy?" I have to hear this. If I'm really going to let her go, I have to know she's I good hands.
"Of course. I promise"
I force a smile.
"Just wait, you'll get a call any second and it'll be Michelle. She's cute like that"
We both laugh when suddenly my phone rings.
"Speaking of phone calls" Alfie laughs. I don't laugh as I see the caller ID.
Michelle
