School had just started. Jeonghans senior year at GongSang academy. It was a lovely campus located right in the middle of Seoul city. It was the small private school that he had attended his whole life. He had grown up with the kids there and now they were all going to graduate together.
The school was extremely hard to get into. Only the smartest, most talented, and richest kids were able to attend. Jeonghan being one of them. At the top of his class in fact. Everyone knew he would be valedictorian for graduation. But everyone hoped for him to sing instead of give a speech, as he was a phenomenal singer.
He was also insanely rich. His mother was a doctor and his father was a successful business owner. From what his parents made now, he wouldn't have to work a day in his life.
Jeonghan woke up bright and early for another day at the greatest school in the country.
He showed, brushed his teeth, combed out his long hair that had become something iconic at Gongsang.
He went to his large wardrobe to fish out his navy blue and red uniform off of its hanger, but for some odd reason, he couldn't find it.
"Mom?" He called out to his mother who was cooking breakfast in the kitchen, "where's my school uniform?"
He made his way to the kitchen as he asked but only came to find his mother with a nervous look on her face.
"What's the matter?" He asked, standing on the opposite side of the counter from her.
"Jeonghan," she started, placing a hand on her sons arm, "we have some bad news for you..."
"W-what kind of news?" Jeonghan said, copying the worried expression on his mothers face.
"You see, your fathers business just had a fall out and suddenly went bankrupt."
"Oh, that's awful!" The boy said.
"So to save a bit of money..." Mrs. Yoon paused. She knew what she was about to say would change her sons life and make him very upset. But she also knew that there was no other way.
"... You're transferring to a public school."
