Seungcheol's face turned a bright shade of red in only a matter of seconds. Jeonghans slight smirk grew into an evil smile.

"Wh-what do you mean?" Seungcheol stuttered nervously.

Jeonghan let out a breathy laugh.

"You know exactly what I mean," he replied, "I took my shirt off in front of you and you totally lost your cool. Why was that?"

Seungcheol looked away, not able to match Jeonghans consistent stare. He had the upper hand and Seungcheol didn't like it. But he couldn't help it. He really was flustered. He knew what would happen if people knew he was gay, or bi, or whatever he was. He didn't know what he was. But Jeonghan was adding to all of the confusion. He wouldn't dare admit it though.

As the silence grew, the space between the boys got smaller. Jeonghan moved toward the older boy until his back touched the bookshelf.

"Are you... Gay, Seungcheol?"

Shit.

Wanted to punch Jeonghan, he wanted to pin him on the ground and beat him until he couldn't move. But, he couldn't. Why wasn't Seungcheol getting angry? He's pissed. He wants to punch the living shit out of this kid. But he can't. He stood there. In silence.

Jeonghan looked at Seungcheol with devious eyes, waiting for something to happen, but nothing ever did. Suddenly, a wave of realization hit him. His expression changed to a surprised look. A state of someone who witnessed something so unbelievable their brain couldn't function.

"Oh my god," Jeonghan whispered.

Seungcheol looked back up slowly, looking genuinely terrified.

"Well," he said, "what are you gonna do? Go tell everyone? Make posters and hang them around school?"

There was a short pause before Jeonghan answered with an almost weak sounding voice.

"No."

"Why not?"

Jeonghan ignored the question for a while, going to sit on the floor beside his bed. He stared at his hands while he fiddled with his fingers, now avoiding eye contact with the older. Soon, Seungcheol joined him, sitting across from him, and they sat in silence for minuets upon minuets.
Then eventually, Jeonghan answered that question.

"I'm gay, Seungcheol. I came out once. It sucks. It changes your life completely. If someone had told everyone before I was ready, I probably would've wanted to kill myself... So I won't tell anyone."

There was silence again. Seungcheol found himself blushing again. He wish he would stop but it was impossible. He hated how nice he was being to Jeonghan. They were supposed to hate each other. But here they were.

"Thank you," Seungcheol said, almost inaudibly.

Jeonghan looked over at him. He didn't look intimidating anymore. It didn't feel like he could go off at anymore my anymore. He looked, like he was someone Jeonghan could like. He was so different in these situations rather than in public. There was no one he needed to prove himself to.

"Seungcheol?" Jeonghan said.

"Hmm?"

"I'm sorry for things I've said to you. I can't really understand other people's problems because I've never really had any of my own."

"Yeah, no kidding," Seungcheol replied. He ran a hand through his jet black hair and sighed, "you have no idea what I'd do to have a life like yours."

Jeonghan couldn't do anything but nod and turn his head away. He honestly felt so guilty for everything now. Seeing this side of Seungcheol made him see him in a different way.

"But," the older continued, "I'm sorry too."

"Seungcheol, it's okay you don't have to-"

"No, i do. I hated you before I even met you. The first thing you said to me was an apology and I just ignored it and hated you. That's so dumb."

There was more silence, this one was far more powerful than the last. All of the emotions being held in were dumped out onto the floor, and they lingered around the boys. But there were still a few that were left unsaid. New feelings. Ones that aren't there 4 hours ago. Dangerous ones. Ones that were so close to leaving mouths but never seemed to escape. Until...

"Jeonghan," Seungcheol said.

"Yeah?"

There was a hesitation before Seungcheol finally spoke again.

"I don't think I hate you anymore," he said as he scooted a bit closer to the blonde. Close enough that as they sat with their legs crossed, their legs touched. Jeongnhan felt his heart skip a beat at the contact.

"Y-you don't?" Jeonghan said, mentally cursing himself for stuttering. There was something happening between them that neither boy could pinpoint out. Yet both were going upon instinct.

Seungcheol shook his head slightly.

"How do you feel about me then?"

Seungcheol lifted one hand to Jeonghans face, rubbing his thumb in circles on his cheek. They both knew what was coming next. Neither of them were pushing the urge away.

"I'm not sure," Seungcheol said.

And with that, the space between the boys faces was eliminated as their lips were pressed together in a soft kiss. Eyes were closed and lips moved so in sync it's like they had done that same thing many times before. But after a time that felt much too short, they separated.

Jeonghans eyes lingered shut for a few seconds, taking in of the feeling of older males lips. When they opened, he saw Seungcheol before him, pink on his cheeks, looking straight at him.

The two boys didn't say a word, but they were almost positive they were reading each others minds.
