Chapter 24

"Good morning,  Munchkin," I said while opening the curtains. 

"Go away Pure, I'm tired," he grumbled still wrapped in his duvet. There is only one way to wake him up, and that is to jump on him. I grinned and jumped. 

"Oww, I'm finally dead, what the hell, you are becoming big," he dared to say. I glared at him and make my way to the door and said," no breakfast for you, you prepare your own."

"Aww baby, do not be like that, I did not mean it," he pleaded still on this bloody bed. 

"Do not baby me, and bye," I slammed the door and went downstairs in the kitchen. 

I was early in the kitchen today, and there was hardly any person roaming around. I would prepare breakfast for the pack members today and dinner, as the first step is to bring everyone again together like a family. I prepared some cinnamon buns, fruit juice and placed some cereals for the one that loved it. 

At about 10 o'clock, everyone was awake and they passed by the kitchen but their faces mirrored a shock expression. 

I smiled at them, and Ron just stumbled from the stairs and fidgeted in his place. 

"Huh what happened why everyone is eyeing you like that, did they see a ghost or what," he said while coming towards the cinnamon buns. I rolled my eyes at his behaviour. 

"Everyone come and have breakfast. Also at night I expect all of you to be here for dinner, I need to discuss some issues with you all," I said to everyone. 

Some just nodded and others murmurs a yes. But they came to eat and that was the essential part. There should be some bonding time, and due to the previous incident no one was normal. 

"Ron I need to talk to you, after you finish eating of course," I said to him before he started saying how his food is essential and blah-blah. 

"Yeah yeah," he said, as he continues to eat.

"And slow down when you eat Ron, I do not want to choke to death because you were eating like someone who did not have food for like a decades." I chuckled at him. He glared at me with his mouth puffed up. 

"Babe, what is there for me to eat?" Kyle whispered in my ears, while sniffing me. I turned around and pushed him a little. 

"Don't," I pointed at him. 

"Aww come on you're still angry, I was just joking," he said.

"Dude you should know it already, if you've said something offensive to her, you will have a hard time earning her apologies," Aaron said to him. 

 "Ron let him be, he's an idiot," I said to him, while pulling him away from Kyle, who was now starting to get angry. 

"Pure, stop being childish," he said. I turned around and stuck out my tongue at him.

"Now that's called childish," I said and Ron snickered at me. 

Kyle murmured something and went in the kitchen. I felt bad somehow though.

"You should feel bad," my wolf said.

"You reappeared, I know but he could not just tell me I'm getting fat or big or whatever concerning my body," I said to her.

"ooh shut up, when he praises your body then you are happy and now you say that he should not comment anything concerning your body, he's your husband for god sake," she scolded. 

"She-wolf you better go away right now, I'm in no mood to argue with you," I said to her and cut the connection. 

I know that she's right, but I do not know why I'm being moody like that. 

"Huh, helloo anybody in there," Ron was waving at me.

"Hmm sorry Ron, just a conversation with my wolf," I said to him, still about everything that happened.

"Okay, so what did you need to tell me," he asked, intrigued. 

"I need your help to help me restore the peace in the pack house and also I'm going to research about that girl named Kriena," I said, determined.

"And who is that girl Kriena you have mentioned," he asked.

"She is Seth's mother, that small boy that have recently came to our house," I said to him. 

"You know, I've noticed something and it's about Brandon, he's becoming rare in the pack and he's supposed to be the beta, right?" he asked and now he mentioned that, I've also noticed that.

"Brandon, where are you?" I mind-linked him.

"I'm at the office with the alpha, what happened?" he replied. 

"Huh, nothing, I was just enquiringly where you were," I said to him. 

"Okay," he replied. 

"Love, what happened? Did you mind-linked Brandon?" Kyle mind-linked, he can't be serious right now. Why is he asking that?

"It's nothing," I replied.

"Now let's focus on the matter, and Brandon is with Kyle," I said, still trying to form a plan, to know where to start. 

"Right, so we should start to search where the attack had taken place and see if there's any village nearby," he said.

"Okay so we go there first and at night we questioned the people here of what do they know about that girl," I said.

"Now that sounds like a plan, lets get started," I said to him, happily.

"Don't you think you should let Kyle know that you are going into the forest," he asked worried.

"Do not worry about that I'll just mind-linked him and we set to work, okay," I said to him. He looked relieved. 

"Kyle, I'm going into the forest with Aaron and do not say no about that, please," I mind-linked him, and sending him some love through the link to make him agree.

"Babe, are you for real, there was a fight like a few days ago and now you want to go into the forest," he said angrily. 

"I'm going to go whether you like it or not," I said to him and cut the link. I huffed and turned to tell Aaron that Kyle agreed. He did not looked convince though. I just do my puppy eyes and he agreed. 

"You are lying to him, you should just obeyed, Purity," my wolf said to me, disappointed in me.

"Oh come on She-wolf, I cannot please everyone and I need to do some work and that's important." I said to her, and she knows that. 

"Lun-Pur, lets go, before it gets dark," Aaron said.
