■Purity pov:-
I woke up with a small headache and it has been raining outside. I walked over my window and peered out over the balcony, my eyes taking in the bright colours squeezing through clouds. It was chilly, I thought, pulling my thin cardigan around myself. The scent of rain hung in the air as I watched the sky darken and the colours fade away as morning fully arrived. Pinks, yellows, and reds disappeared first. Blue soon followed, overtaken by the grayness climbing over the mountain tops. But as the mist thickened and the unmistakable roll of thunder growled threateningly, one colour hung on, rapidly fading orange.
It did not take long until the husky colour faded. Rain splattered on my window. I decided to take a hot shower.I walked leisurely to the shower, steam filling the room as I cut the shower on. The water pours down, it drips by my side as my mind fades into dullness and everything is a foggy illusion. The sensation of the steamy water calms me; it takes my mind off the current happening events. My mind swirls, and it's like an everlasting waterfall. Ever so beautiful, but it can never last, I know that now.
After that calming and smoothing shower, I went in the kitchen to take a quick breakfast, and that's comprises of an apple and some oatmeals.
I was still eating when I saw a bunch of children heading outside in the garden.
"Where do they get that much energy to run, in an early morning like that, pfft," I mumured to myself. Today is full moon, wait, today is the day where the children will shift for the first time. Now, that's news. Then, after shifting today, they will be able to shift again when they reached the age of eighteen. Isn't it brilliant, to feel that pain two times in your entire life. Note the sarcasm.
The rain had already stop. The air had a rainy scent, and I love it. I saw Rosel near the door. The child of Caith.
"Rosel, come here," I called her.
"Yes, Luna, coming," she said happily jumping around the chairs and came to me. She's cute and small. Her glossy blonde hair bouncing on her head. I let out a small laugh.
"Why are you standing there alone, and not join your friends and brother outside?" I asked.
"I'm afraid, Luna, momma say that when becoming wolf, it causes pain, and I don't want pain," she said looking a bit afraid. She reminds me of my childhood and how my parents was convicing me that the pain was not terrible at all. I miss them.
"Rosel, everyone is born with a wolf for themselves so they are able to help each other, your wolf also will help you, and the pain is nothing compared to help that they offer and they become your best friend until you reach eighteen and shift again, and after that your wolf will be even more close to you." I said to her of what my mother said to me. She seem convinced and happy now.
"Thank you, Luna, I'm going to meet my friends then, bye," she said waving to me. I finished my remaining breakfast and went out to see everyone.
"Kyle...Kyle, where are you?" I shouted, I know he is out here somewhere, I can sense him but not see him.
"Missing me much, Pure," he whispered in my ears, he was behind me. I can feel his warmth envelopping me. I turned around to come face to face with him, only inches away. His breath was slow and heavy, it seem he was running.
"Hmpf, missing you, no, but needing to see you, then yes," I said.
"Then why did you need to see me?" He said inching closer to me.
I put a hand on his chest despite the sparks, I pushed him a litttle away to create some distance. I'm willing to accept him but need a bit of distance though.
