Chapter 16

After a few months.....
■Purity pov:-
Gone are the days of wintry light kissing coldly upon my face, in those blustery days the great golden orb above was friendly. When uncovered by snow or sleet laden cloud it gave colour to the day, finding any glint of greenness left in the world. When spring came its brilliant rays shone not just brightly, but with a touch of warmth, a promise of the growing seasons to come.

Now in the heady heat of August, we walk on the tinder of the forest floor, dreading the moment we must leave its dense protective canopy and walk the last mile beneath the unrelenting sun. The world is painted vivid by its rays, like a new painting with still wet oils. No longer is it gently warming our bodies, bringing life back to cold muscles; now it burns unprotected skin in minutes. After the light clothing of June and July the full body smocks and hats are unwelcome, but preferable to redness and pain. In this long month the sun does not bring smiles, instead we march on, head-bowed under it's angry glare.

So, it's just me and my mate after those months protecting my old pack Moon Chaste Pack and making an agreement with the pack of Kyle. Now we are called the Moon Golden Crescent Pack. Yeah, I know it's a long name but I needed to keep some memories of my old pack. But the only problem is that Brandon's behaviour has deteriorate even more and due to  this I made Aaron my beta and told Brandon to step down due to those problems. Amazing thing is that he did not even fight for his place. Kyle make Martin, his beta, third command and he was glad about it and even become friend with Aaron.

■Unknown pov:-
They thought by making me step down from my position, they have stop me from doing what I was planning. I smirked and went into the forest. I had a cabin there and I planned my every wicked and evil plan there.

"Wahahaha, now after she thinks everything is calmed down, she is going to get a pretty surprise. Ah, I waited so long for that moment."

■Purity pov:-
I'm getting a bad intuition that something bad is going to happen but for the time being, but I was interrupt by Aaron voice outside. I get out of bed, and make my way to the kitchen. I've been sleeping a bit longer today, so it's around 10 o'clock, I guess. I was scratching my head, when I felt a small tap on my shoulder. I turned and saw Aaron.

"Ron, you really need to stop freaking people like that even when I know you, I can punch you hard on your nose for being a creepy ass, ok," I said a bit freaked down, I don't know why feel something bad is going to happen.

"Relax, LunPur, It just me and not a your sexy mate," he said jokingly, I bet if Kyle heard him right now, he would have got his ass spank and since we moved here, he called me LunPur, of course being friendly and respecting my title. Despite I'm not officially Luna until I turned 20, he respects me, so I cannot change his mind.

"Ron, if he heard you, I'm not saving your ass from getting spank," I smirked at his afraid and confuse face.

"LunPur, you are my best friend for years now and you will not save me, how rude," he said pouting and he's kinda cute like this, sad puppy face.

"Now, babe, can I know who are you telling cute now," I was startled by this sudden question from Kyle via the mind link. Now, I can say he's kind of piss off. That's damn a turn on to face a completely possessive mate, due to mating process finished long term ago, he's gradually becoming more and more possessive, and annoying the hell out of me sometimes, like today.

"It's just Ron, love, don't get work up like that, you are going to get a headache," I said with a smirk.

"Ohh right and I want to see you tonight, dress up and wait for me, I have a surprise for you," he said cutting the link. Damn his ass, I did not even get to ask him, where we were going for that surprise thing.

"Look like someone just have a nightmare," Aaron said heading to the kitchen and disappeared behind the door. Stupid ass. I looked at the clock and it was nearly noon. I went to the kitchen to eat something and I saw Aaron preparing some sandwiches.

"Ron, what is there in the sandwich that you are preparing?" I asked him. He eyed me suspiciously and said,"it is bacon and some pickles, the way I like it," I rolled my eyes at him, because it also the way I like it too. I took one sandwich when he was not looking and slowly sneak out from the kitchen with my prize, that is the sandwich. I arrived in the living room and just then I heard Aaron shouting.

"LUNPURE, WHAT THE HELL? YOU STOLE MY SANDWICH," he was still shouting and I shoved the last piece in my mouth and grin to myself.

He arrived in the living room looking angry, I made my puppy eyes at him.

"I did not take your sandwich, Ron," I said to him, innocently.

"Oh really LunPur , and why there are still crumbs and a smell of bacon coming out from you," he asked, raising one eyebrow like telling me 'really, lying now' one. Just then Kyle appeared in the living room, god thanks, he arrived on time to save me and that what I thought of. But as you know fate sometimes is a bitch and just screw you up like hell and that what happens with me.

"Babe, you should not have stolen Aaron's sandwich, it's very bad and you are going to get punish for that," he said looking amused and saying punish mean something related to bed. Hmpf, he always need excuses to just get laid. Typical male instinct, and I rolled my eyes at me.

"Yeah, yeah, punish me, like I care," I said and smiled inwardly as I know he will get angry. Aaron knew what would happen so he excused himself and went back to the kitchen.

■Kyle pov:-
Really bad move, love. Now I'm pissed and angry. I saw Aaron going back to the kitchen. I turned to face Pure and I can say that she was not affected by me being angry at her. I growled at her.

"Love, you really should not challenge me like that, you make my wolf go mad and when I say mad, its means really mad," I said to her and saw her flinch a little bit. Good, she got the message. But instead of answering back like she always does, she was coming to me.

She came really close, where our breaths become one.

"What..what are you doing, Pure?" I stammered, really stammer since when, damn.

"I want to...." she said whispering in my ear. That's was damn a turn on.

"What?" I only managed to say. She leaned in even more where our lips were briefly touching.

"I....I want ...to ...shower," she said running upstairs leaving me here all hard and sweaty. Damn, that girl going to be the death of me.

"You were just being fool by your mate, Kyle, remember you were angry with her and she just divert your mind from angry to desire," my wolf said to me, rather amused by our mate's behaviour.

"I'm not a fool, it just that...that, ah nevermind," I said knowing that my wolf was right.

But tonight, I'm going to give her that surprise. I can't wait the night to come.
