Chapter 22

The sun was already up in the sky, and I was still sleeping. Yesterday was a tough day, what Kyle has told me is still in my mind. What if that mysterious wolf is planning to kill Kyle, oh god no way. I jumped from the bed and went to see Kyle, when suddenly he entered in the room and bumped into him in this haste.

"What the hell, Pure, where are you going in such a haste, I could have been injured like that." he said with a glint of mischief in his eyes. Oh you want to play the big bad alpha, OK bring it on.

"Oh really, Kyle you should stop acting like a baby, it does not suit you."

"Pure, let it be you does not understand me," he said and walk away maybe he went in the kitchen. He seem distant today due to what happened yesterday.

"You are such an ass..." I murmured.

"I heard you Pure," he said.

Why our relation is seeing distant? Have something happened since his encounter with that wolf? There are so many to ask him, but he is acting a bit weird.

"Groaahgourou..." my stomach was growling, damn I'm hungry.

I entered the kitchen and saw that everything was dirty and not clean. What is happening in that house, for god sake, first Kyle acting weird and now no one has cleaned that kitchen. Yuck, there is a rotten smell coming from the fridge.

Today, it seem that I need to do some cleaning and maybe later I need to cook something. I started with the fridge itself, and that was smelling so bad, that a person could die instantly. I should found out why no one is doing nothing in this house.

"Kyle, where are you? I need you in the kitchen, right now!" I shout out. I've waited for a response but he haven't show up. What the hell! Since that incident no one is in a good mood and everyone seem distant from me. Maybe I just need to go for a vacation for some days, knowing the fact that there is a bad wolf searching in the woods.

Suddenly I heard someone crying and intrigued I went to see who was it. Outside the kitchen, a small boy was crying and who is he?

"Hey little one, what happened? Are you lost or something you need?" I asked with concern. He raised his head and wiped his puffy red eyes and stared at me.

"I...I .. wanted to go to the forest but mommy shouted at me..and...and... said that I'm a bad boy," he said and start crying once again.

"Oh you are not a bad boy, you are a sweet little boy, what is your name?" I asked him.

"My name is Seth. I am the son of Kriena, a friend of Alpha," he said.

A friend of Alpha, how strange why Kyle has not told me anything about that friend.

"Hi, Seth, I am Purity, Luna of this pack, and I am pleased to meet you," I said a bit suspicious though.

"You are the Luna, oh," he said and now I'm more suspicious about this kid.

"Go and play with the kids in the garden, I need to go and work Seth," I said remembering the state of the kitchen. But first let me go and change in some light clothes and then the cleaning start. I mind linked Aaron to come and help me as he was available.

I went in my room and put some comfy clothes, that is, a blue short and a loose pink shirt with my black sport bra. Now, let see who the big bad Alpha feel about my clothing sense. I let out an evil laugh and went to the kitchen hopping on the way. When suddenly I dumped into someone, and from the tingles I already knew who it was but still I ignored him and went to meet Aaron. I hugged him and heard a low growl behind me, good for him. Moody Alpha.

Kyle pov:-

I was somehow angry with myself, how can that happened and I was still thinking about that when Pure ran into me, but to my amazement she did not even look at me but instead went to meet Aaron. What the hell. She was hugging him and I could not avoid the growl that escaped me. I don't know why I was avoiding her but there is something that has happened to us and I still could not figure out why we are like that.

I saw what she was wearing, how dare she wear that! That short is too short for her and she can only wear that for my eyes.

"Pure, what the hell are you wearing?" I asked showing her that I am angry.

Purity pov:-

"Pure, what the hell are you wearing?" Kyle asked angrily. I was just pissed with him so I let him talked. I just had enough that he ignored me and still dare to order me around like a puppy. I had enough and that mean enough.

"Aa, we need to clean that dirty kitchen and you are going to stay here till I finished, OK." I said to him, mostly ordered him.

"Pure, why do I get the impression that you are doing this on purpose and also I get the extremely bad impression that Alpha Kyle is not going to like that and I'm going to get my ass beaten." He mind linked me and let out  a low chuckle and winked at him. He rolled his eyes at me and I mocked him by showing him my tongue.

We just laughed and I nearly forget that Kyle was still in this particular room and clearly pissed at me. I just shrugged my shoulder and went behind the counter to start the cleaning. As I walked towards the counter, I know that Kyle was looking at me so I add a bit of sway in my walking and heard him let a low growl and I smiled maliciously. Even better and Aaron just saw what I've done and shook his head in disapproval.

"I'm going to die just because of you, Pure!"  he said with humor and a bit afraid also. Aaron helped me a lot in the kitchen and I cleaned that smelly kitchen and in the afternoon I need the person who is in charge of the kitchen to buy groceries. Perhaps today I'm not going to eat till the groceries do not arrive. I wonder how the pack is managing today.

"Aa, how is the pack feeding themselves today due to the state of the kitchen and also the situation of having no food in the house?" I asked him intrigued.

"Lun Pur, not all the member stay in the pack house only the unmated males and females and the kids that are near to shifting, and also you and Alpha, but the other members have their own house in our territories and their own food, so no need to worry about them." he said.

"But all the members in the pack house haven't eat like us?"  I asked him. He let out a small chuckle and said, " no Lun Pur, everyone has eat today, no one has stayed hungry, we are werewolves and cannot stay without eating so everyone went to Mac' Donald to eat," he said and I was a bit sad, how can they do that? What is happening to this pack. First they met a brownish yellow wolf, secondly I met a strange small boy and now that. I really need an answer.
