Chapter 20

■Purity pov:-

It was sunset. I watched with an unwavering gaze, as a fiery red orb of light slowly sank, beneath the horizon, and threads of light lingered in the sky, mingling with the rolling clouds, dyeing the heavens first orange, then red, then dark blue, until all that was left of the sunset was a chalky mauve, and then that melted away in turn as Stygian darkness took over the sky. Sequin-silver stars like glowing embers of a dying fire winked down at me, illuminating the atramentous curtain of sky, and then suddenly the clouds parted, and I found myself looking at a lustrous, argent disc casting brilliant rays of moonlight onto the dark grounds...

The sunset was marvelous. I have already decorated the room and Kyle was happy about my work. I was delighted and tired. It was nearly night. Kyle needed to go to a meeting, but I'm already missing him. Tomorrow I would tell Kyle to arrange a pack meeting because since I am married I have not conduct any meeting. Now we should go back to work.

Around midnight, I felt warm arms around my waist and snuggle into Kyle, knowing it was him. I have a dreamless and peaceful night.

In the morning....

Kyle and I were eating breakfast, cereals and warm milk. Kyle was eating so noisily today, slurping his cereals like some kind of vacuum cleaner. Then, showing no signs of embarrassment he wiped his mouth on his sleeve and belched. Seeing his behavior, I rolled my eyes and feeling my food coming up. Oh god, if I continued to watch him eating, I will definitely puke.

"Stop eating like that Kyle, you are irritating the hell out of me!" I shout at him. He flinched and look at me with murderous eyes.

"I'm sorry your majesty, I will eat more decently from now on," he said sarcastically seeing a bit of mischief in his eyes. Damn him. I left the table after finishing my cereals without turning to see Kyle. He's a jerk.

"Shut up, stop insulting what's mine!" my wolf said.

"Ha. Ha, funny, you make me laugh she-wolf, and I don't want your lectures right now, so go away," I said to her angrily. I don't know why I'm getting angry with everything and everyone.

I was walking alone in the corridors and everyone was looking at me differently, especially the unmated male, there was lust in their eyes, what the hell.

"LOVE, why the hell are you, I need you in the room, RIGHT NOW! Kyle shouted via our link. What's his problem now? What's everyone problem?

"Fine, I'm coming no need to shout that loud," I said with a growl. Now I seriously need to go to the doctor. Why Kyle's voice was making all horny? Oh god, I'm going crazy.

As I entered the room, I heard a low growl.

"Wo..wo.. calm your hormones down, babe," I said with a small chuckle.

"It's not funny, Pure, you are in a damn heat, how can you venture in the open with all those unmated males outside," he said and I was shocked.

"What the hell? But I did not felt any pain or whatever the female members were saying!" I said half afraid, half angry.

"Shush, babe, this is because you are already mated with me, and you will not feel the pain or whatever theory you have in your small brain," he said, but his eyes was dark with lust.

His eyes are like two rare gems, each time more beautiful with every glance. His touch is like soothing notes, making me feel like a ballerina in every dance. Being with him is like a princess story, charming, elegant and full of romance.

That's why I was feeling the desire and want for him. God, now I'll become the psycho pervert around him until the heat doesn't end. Good, good, it had to happen when I decided to become serious about my work and fulfill my responsibilities towards my people, hmpf.

Kyle's passions arrived unannounced and ended explosively like car bombs.

After some hours passed on bed, I was tired and all sweaty.

"Kyle, I'm going to take a bath, I want to do a pack meeting today, will you organize it? Love you," I said going in the bathroom without waiting his answer or he would have definitely refuse. Mister Kyle don't like to take orders but I'm his wife so he should listen. I smirked while thinking of that.

I slide down into the water, letting it block out the sounds around me. I wished the tub would expand so I could go swimming, like I used on hot summer Sundays in the woods with my father. Those days were a special treat. I felt my tears rolling down my cheeks. I still missed them.

"May I know why you are sad, love, I can feel your emotions," Kyle linked me. Crap, I forget about that.

"I was thinking about my parents," I said.

"Are the people in the meeting room, Kyle?" I asked him via our link.

"Yup!" only that as an answer, seriously.

I wore a sundress a little above my knees, have done a ponytail with those messy hair and put on a small ballerina with no laces, of course. I half run and half walk to the meeting.

I entered and felt everyone eyes on me. I mentally face-palm myself, I forget that I was still on heat. Kyle let out a low dangerous growl behind me and everyone diverted their stares. Kyle came behind me and hugged me tightly.

"Why have you put such a small dress and damn, you look to tempting right now,"  he whispered and let a small growl in my ears. Damn those sexy growls, it's full of desire and lust. I felt my eyes becoming black, like I said I'm going to behave like a psycho pervert for the days to come.

"Hey you two, go get a room," Aaron said in a high voice, causing me to break from my trance.

"Ah, ahem, yeah, so today we are doing this meeting to discuss about the problem of the packs and to make some arrangement about financial problems and the fights that happens between the rogue and packs," I said.
"Brandon, you will come with me in the forest today, for special patrol and inspect on the rogues, despite we have fight and win the first fight they would not stop," Kyle said, determination in his eyes. I let a low growl at him which was full of lust. God, help me.

Good, they are making my work even more easy. I hope that Luna Pure come with Alpha Kyle also, that would be fun.
