Pure Luna ❄

Chapter 1

In ancient Roman religion and myth, Luna is the divine embodiment of the Moon. The moon goddess is respected and worshipped among the wolves. I, Purity Ana Snow, Luna of The Moon Chaste Pack, born on 4th of July during a full moon, ruler of the mountains where my people are situated.

■Amber[ mother] pov :-
My daughter, my only baby, a slender young woman with flowing silvery brown hair, pale blue eyes, dressed in a silken blue and white dress. She can represent the Moon goddess itself, but not disrespecting the Moon goddess, of course. She is pale as the full moon with lips, red as blood. Today my baby, is finally turning eighteen and she will start her training to be a Luna that will last for 2 years and when she will turn 20, then she will take the title of Luna, the alpha female.

■Purity pov:-
Today, I'll be turning eighteen, finally, I will be able to be in my wolf form and everybody in my pack has a beautiful and unique wolf. So I hoped mine also would be unique. I was anxious about everything. My parents have thrown a party for my birthday so technically, everybody was invited and I am not the social type.

"Mom, can I talk to you for a minute, please," I said with the puppy eyes.

"You are nearly eighteen in about an hour and you are still doing those puppy eyes, hmpf, anyway you are still my little girl." she said.

"Mom.... I want to go outside, in the garden, I'm feeling suffocated here." I asked.

"OK, but you better be here when it will be time to cut the cake, have I made myself clear," she demanded using her Luna tone and I could not refuse her. I just nodded and ran outside.

Tomorrow the training will be starting, therefore I need to enjoy myself as much I want today. My wolf has not came out yet, but I can still run fast. I decided to take a break from the party and go in the forest that was near my house, there was all type of scents from different packs that have come to my birthday and its still lingering around. I don't like it, it felt like my own pack scent has disappeared.

BOOM... I quickly turned my head towards that noise and I was horrified to see my pack house, my home on fire. I cried and lunged towards the pack house.

"Momm....daaad..." I cried and wanted to go inside the house to save them. It cannot be happening, my birthday, my parents inside that burning house, the fire has engulfed the pack house completely. I cannot imagine my parents just died in my birthday.

I cried for a whole day, my heart was destroyed completely, I could not handle that much pain.

"Whyy this have to happen in my birthday, they were my world, they were the only people I was being able to share my sadness and thoughts with..." I kept on crying silently and whisper to myself. I was totally broken.

"Luna, I'm the beta, please open the door, your pack members need you, you can't  be weak, you need to be strong and support your pack, please open the door, Luna," Brandon, my beta said. He was certainly right but right now, I'm not in the state.

"I....ahhhh..." I screamed, I felt an excruciating pain in my entire body.

"What the hell is that pain, aah...." I cried even harder, I'm sure everyone could hear me by now. I heard my bone cracking, rearranging itself, to be change into a wolf, what the heck, why now? I was in terrible pain and I did not hear the door opened but I felt someone arms around me before I fell unconscious.

After some minutes, the pain have diminished, and opened my eyes and felt much lighter. I was on my four Paws, my freaking paws. I'm in my wolf form. I went in front the mirror and saw the most amazing and beautiful wolf ever. I was unique. I was white and has a little of blackish colour on my face and some parts of the body but the most amazing thing is that I had a beautiful small heart shape on my forehead and it was gold.

"Wow..." someone muttered behind me. I turned and saw my beta, he was still here.

"Thanks.." I mind linked him. After that joyful moment, I realized that my parents would have been happy to see me in my wolf form. I was still mourning for my parents.

Then I turned back into my human form. 

I was trying to keep my mind occupied so that I don't feel the lost of my parents too much. 

Today, I start my training and also I have become Luna directly after my parents....died, that hurts. So my journey begins as from today, being the Luna of Moon Chaste pack is going to be a huge work but I can manage that with the help of my pack members. 

I have lost many pack members during this incident and there were injured members also. But, with time everything will be fine.

Tomorrow, I'm going to see and investigate a bit in the burnt pack house to see what has caused that sudden fire.
