Chapter 21

■Purity pov:-

"I'll be going with Kyle," I said knowing that he would refuse me due to my heat problems. Damn those heats.

"No way, Pure, I cannot bring you with me knowing that you're in heat and that you are like a prey waiting for the predator," he said.

"Lets go and play the prey-predator games upstairs, I'll show you what I'm made of," I linked him and can felt his lust already. Good for him. I went to my bedroom, leaving him to finish the meeting.

"Damn you woman, why are you torturing me like that, wait for me, I'll come deal with you," he said in his sexy lustrous voice.

■Kyle pov:-

"Let us end this meeting here today, and Brandon you will be coming with me for the special night patrol, OK!" I said.

"Yes, Alpha," he said. I dismissed the meeting and went straight to my loving naughty wife. As I entered, I saw her coming out from the shower, her wet hair dripping water and her lustrous lips, pale pink that is just ready for me to kiss.

I grabbed her waist and whispered to her ears. Her giggles were melody to my ears.

"Sh". I hushed her, before moving my finger, and pressing my hand against her cheek, giving me more support to push myself towards her, and connect our lips. My lips were firm against her, but the kiss remained soft, gentle, slow. We held it for a few seconds, before our lips began to move in perfect sync, slowly, cautiously. I exhaled through my nose, not wanting to let go. My entire body had been taken over by the overwhelming feeling of relief, combined with eccentric panic, and lust. I moved my hand from her cheek to the back of her head, my fingers tangling in her long, dark chocolate hair, lightly pulling her into me, adding more pressure to our lips, deepening the kiss.

■Purity pov:-

His kisses were like addiction. I cannot stop myself from kissing him.

"Pure, I want to make love with you, right now," he said and I just nodded as I continued to kiss him, not wanting to break the kiss. After some hours later, I was all sweaty and needed a bath but my body would not budge from the bed.

I bury my face in his chest and he wraps his hands around me. Despite being sweaty, his warmth tells me that I'm safe with him. He is so warm that my breath feels cold against his chest. I grab his shirt and pull myself closer to him, as I need his warmth to tell me that he won't lose me and keep me safe. As at night he would be going for the patrol and I don't want rogues to kill him or hurt him. Thinking of those things, I felt tears forming in my eyes but I need to stay strong for him and for our pack.

Later in the evening...

Everyone is planning their routines patrol equipment and Kyle just showered and packed his own things for the special patrol.

"I want you to be safe and please don't kill yourself in the process," I said a bit worried. He chuckled at my orders and he knows that I am serious but as always doing his own ways.

After 15 minutes of preparation, they set off for the forest. I should have gone with them, tomorrow the heat would be finished and then I would be able to have a normal routine. Hmpf, I don't like those lustrous stares from those males, it irritates me to hell. I stomped my feet and went to my bedroom.

I wanted to sleep but I could not find sleep, I'm worried about Kyle's safety. If by midnight, he do not return then I'm off finding him, heat or not. And it would fade by midnight, so no worries. After turning left and right to find sleep, I gave up. I went by the window, and stare at the darkness.

I felt someone behind me, I panicked a little. I did not dare to turn what if it's a rogue or worst a ghost. Oh god, help me.

"Kyle, where are you?" I whispered. Suddenly I was pulled into a hug. I was about to scream when I felt tingles everywhere on my body and knew instantly that it was Kyle.

"What the heck, Kyle, you nearly gave me a heart attack and why is there blood stains on you?" I asked a bit worried and relieved that he's finally home.

He remained silent for some minutes that seem like eternity and finally broke the silence by telling the incident he encountered. I was shocked by that news.

So let me tell you from the beginning what had happened...

"Kyle and his warriors who usually go on a patrol was heading east and there they separate in small groups that is, Kyle and Brandon was together and the other split up. So after the separation, Kyle and Brandon went to the northern directions and after some miles they found a cabin, which was unusual to be in the middle of the forest. So intrigued they went in and discovered some plans and plots about killing someone. They were still doing their small research when they heard a loud howl outside the cabin. They rushed outside and saw a yellow brownish wolf, and was never seen before." I was like what the heck is that colour but lets get back to the incident.

"So after they met the wolf, they try to make him turn to human but did not achieve in doing that and the wolf ran away and Brandon was to follow him but lost track of him. They returned home and now Kyle is telling me that this particular wolf is planning to kill someone but who?" Now I can say that I was kind of freak out but Kyle hugs me even tighter.

"Love, are you planning on killing me with your so tight hugs," I said chuckling when he let out a growl.

"Never talk about being killed Pure, or I would go crazy," he said a little bit sad. We went to sleep after that small but rather big incident. Hope tomorrow everything goes well and that mysterious wolf is captured before he does any damages.
