Pure Luna ❄

Chapter 2

I woke up with my alarm clock blaring, but snoozed it for 15 minutes and slept again. Ha, I maybe the Luna but my beauty sleep come first. So my schedule for today is to, investigate in the burnt house and afterward I would go for training.

"Good morning, Brandon, I'll be going in the burnt house after breakfast, if you have no work to cover then you will accompany me there." I said to him.

"Yes, Luna, I'll come with you as I have already done my work yesterday." he said. I was a bit relieved that he will come.

I went in the kitchen and prepared oatmeal and apple juice. After that healthy breakfast, I mind linked Brandon and we walked towards the burnt house. As we were getting closer, my heart pace was increasing gradually. 

"What the hell..." I muttered under my breath.

Brandon opened the door and we entered the house, there was the awful smell of burnt things everywhere. It was difficult to breath inside and even more difficult to identify the scent of any wolves. I went further in the house and searched for any clues that will help me to identify the culprit behind this incident, but it was complicated.

"Have you find anything, Brandon," I asked him and he has not answered back.

"Brandon.....Brandon....Bran...What is this?"  I saw an intriguing shining thing under a piece of cloth while searching for Brandon. I was already having difficulty in finding clues, now he has disappeared. Like really, have I not enough problems.

I picked that shining piece of metal and it was like glass but not light as a glass. I need to take that thing to analyze it and would come back later when the burnt smell decreased. But I hope that the scent of the culprit doesn't fade away.

Immediately after my graduation from high school, I've got to start those training. I did not even get to enjoy my holidays well. Now due to this incident, I've become Luna and I have more duties to do. But, I'm not complaining at all. I smiled to myself, feeling proud.

"I don't think you are proud, like right now, and definitely not with the title of Luna being given to you at such a rather young age," someone said.

"Who...who.. is there?" I asked as I know I have blocked everyone from my mind.

"Dummy, how can you not recognized my voice. You don't have to ask who was talking to you that loud, everyone will think you are crazy. As far as I know, I don't think you want anyone to think that you are crazy," my wolf said.

"Wow, where were you yesterday, when I needed you?" I asked her.

"I was tired after the transformation and you were emotionally and physically tired that why I have not said anything. You are really going to ask all those questions. I'm talking to you now, so be happy."  She has the audacity to reply in a such tone after all she's my wolf. I blocked the link with her, she is making me angry and due to her, I'm actually late for the training, great.

I went on a medium size playground that was not asphalted. My father would have being my trainer but he's dead and now the beta has taken that job.

"Brandon, where were you when I was calling you?" I asked.

"Sorry, Luna, I had something important to attend." he said with such ease that made me angry because he did not think necessary to inform me that he was leaving.

"You didn't think it was necessary to inform me that you were leaving," I said a bit annoyed.

"I am sorry, Luna, next time, I'll inform you," he said. What an ass! I thought he was my friend, since the incident, he become more serious and distant.

"Luna, we'll need to start the training now, we have lost enough time now," he said in such authority. Yeah, I know he is my trainer, my teacher, but still he can be a little bit friendly. 

I simply nodded and started with the training. First, I've done 20 run around the playground and afterward I've done some exercises. Tomorrow, I will start the training for fight and defense.

We finished after 3 hours of training, I was exhausted, I could not move a finger. 

Instead of taking a shower, I was lying on the bed with my sweaty clothes.

"You are such a lazy bum, you will make the bed sheet dirty. Dirty human. I can't believe, I'm your wolf. And really, you cannot move a finger, just tell me that you are lazy." My wolf said to me, why is she so sarcastic? She always angered me, hmpf. I got up from the bed and went to the bathroom.

I was literally dragging my body in the shower, I was really dying with exhaustion. 

Tomorrow the training will be more hectic. The water was lukewarm and smoothing, so relaxing. I could stay here forever.

"You are here? I hope you are happy now, I'm a clean human now." I said to my wolf.

"Ya...ya..ya.. keep talking, go and eat now, I'm hungry and stop losing time in the shower. You are already clean," she said. Arr....my wolf is such an ass. But its true, I'm hungry so she was right but she's so annoying, like a mother.

"Mom, I miss you," I whispered. I was still missing her, but I need to be a responsible Luna as my mom always says,"Accept responsibility for your life. Know that it is you who will get you where you want to go, no one else." I still remembered her words, it encourages me to move forward without fearing.
