"Hey G." I shoved open the door to the apartment a little too hard and it bounced off the wall. Gloria glared at me as I rubbed away the tiny, black mark and gave her an apologetic look. "Matiás is staying with us."

"Hey, babe." Matiás grinned at my roommate. "Any chance I could share with you tonight?"

"Sorry kiddo, I don't tend to go for ten year olds. But good try." She replied, not missing a beat.

"Three and a half years, I'll be eighteen; then I can do all the things you read about in the magazines." He winked at Gloria as he threw himself down in the armchair.

"I'll hold you to that, bud." She laughed. It was just plain creepy when my younger brother hit on my roommate. "Oh, by the way Mila. Mason is coming over, he should be here in like ten minutes."

"That's great, now we can have a party; I invited Luke round as well." We turned round and stared at Matiás.

"You did what? How did you even get his number?" I interrogated.

"He gave it to me a few weeks back. Told me he was going to put my in touch with his friend who was apparently going to be a footballer; Calum I think he said his name was? Anyway, he's coming round later."

"Brilliant. Absolutely fucking brilliant." Due to the fact that Mason most probably hates Luke's guts and like felt very awkward about the whole situation, I'd say we were in for a treat.

Exactly ten minutes later, Mason arrived at our door with a bottle of vodka in one hand and a box of chocolates in the other. I knew I liked this guy for a reason.

"I hope you guys have Diet Coke or something, I kinda forgot to bring some." He grinned. "I missed you babe, I haven't seen you in weeks." Engulfing me in a hug, Mason's strong aftershave filled me nostrils and I choked a little. He never even noticed.
"Is that vodka for me?" Matiás glanced at the bottle with a cheeky expression.
"Is it fuck for you, Matiás Mills! You're fourteen years old." I warned.
"And what where you doing at fourteen, Mila?" He replied quickly, bringing on an attitude.
"I was studying hard for school, like you should be."
"It's the holidays."
"I don't care." He sat back down into the armchair in defeat. Opening up a cupboard, Mason pulled out four glasses.

"He can have one." Mason said to me and winked at Matiás. Apparently I have no authority here, and so I'll just shut my trap; I'll stop being the responsible sister. Mason poured out four vodka and cokes and handed them out. My brothers eyes lit up like a kid on Christmas as he took a sip. Oh, to be young and naive. It's not as fun in the morning when you've drank an entire bottle the night before and you're spewing your load into the pan, face stuck to the tiled bathroom floored because the coolness helps the headache.

The doorbell rang and Gloria jumped up to answer it. A few seconds later, in wandered Luke, looking slightly dishevelled in a loose maroon tee-shirt and some black, cotton shorts.

"What's up guys?" Luke smiled awkwardly, glancing at Mason.
"You remember Mason?" I asked as I began to pour him a drink.
"Yeah, sure. We had English class together?"
"That would be the one." Mason replied from his position in the corner of the sofa.
"Mila told me about your book, great job man." Luke complimented. Mason loved it when someone mentioned his writing success.
"Thanks, I heard you're doing pretty damn well on the music front, too." And like that, all the bad blood between them was changed like a blood transfusion. Mason even told me in private the extent in which he liked Luke now. He said, and I quote; 'I like that dude's ass, and his face ain't too bad either.' To which I replied; 'Back off bro, he's mine.'

So then we finished the bottle of vodka; though Matiás was only allowed the one; and we continued on to having those weird have drunken conversations that you probably would never speak about sober.

"What age did you lose your virginity, Mila?" Mason asked. "I was seventeen when I lost mine."
"Eighteen, I think. Matiás here has already lost his."
"That's not a bad thing, I lost mine at fourteen as well." Gloria chipped in.
"That's because you're a slut." Mason laughed. Gloria wasn't a slut, she just liked sleeping with different people when she was single.
"Stop slut-shaming; it's her body, she can do what she wants." I intersected and Luke nodded in agreement. I was lay across his lap as he sat comfortably with his feet propped up on the coffee table.

"I hate to interrupt this extremely riveting conversation, but Mila take a look at this." My brother handed me his iPad and I looked blankly at the screen.
"Why are you showing me your messages?"
"They're not my messages; they're dads. I accidentally took his iPad instead of mine." He explained. "Read the messages from Riley."
I scrolled down and found Riley's name, before clicking on the chat and opening up the messages. I could feel my face grown redder and redder the more messages I read.

"That psychotic little fucking bitch."

A/N

Hi guys!
I included drawing of both Mila and Gloria's apartment and Mila's parents house. Sorry they're kind of shitty but that's just how I envisioned them in my head.
I'm still on vacation just now and I'm using a free Wifi in some pub, so I probably won't be updating anytime in the next week; but as I said I'll still write whilst I'm here and then I'll be able to update a lot when I'm back.

Thank you all for reading, commenting and voting!
