Once I finish making a batch of macaroons, I look at the clock.
2:36pm
I sigh as I walk up the stairs and open the door to my shared bedroom. "Mark...?" I whisper slowly walking to the bed where my husband was fast asleep. I sit next to his form and run my fingers through his silky hair. "Mark? Baby, you're gonna be late."
He opens one eye before closing it again and wrapping his arms around my waist, pulling me down to lay with him. "I don't wanna..."
I laugh at his childish behavior, "Stay up all night playing with jack again?" He nods against my hair, taking a deep breath.
"You smell good..."
"Mark."
"Hmm?" He hums, pulling me closer to him.
"C'mon, you gotta let me go, you have to be a Matthias's place by three. I also have to go shopping for him." I say turning around to face him.
He looked down at me with a small smile and kisses my forehead, "I can tell him we had to reschedule and you still have five months, we can wait to go shopping." He places his hand on my stomach, rubbing it softly.
I sigh, "fine, but a least let me finish the macaroons."
He shakes his head and tightens his grip. "Noooo~ I want to cuddle~" he responds.
I laugh and bury my head into his chest, "okay..." I smile softly and kiss his bare chest, "you're gonna be the best dad."
His smiles lovingly down at his wife, "Me? You'll be the perfect mother!"
I laugh and roll my eyes, "Sure, Love." We stay in bed the rest of the day, watching movies or just enjoying each others company.
You two are the perfect couple.
