"Thank God he's gone." I waved my hand gathering Uncle Dorian's attention and silently thanked him. Be knew exactly what to do. I was still in shocked. I had no idea what to say Phil. I'm not even sure how he knew this was happening. I sat there embarrassed, feeling my face burn like I was sprayer with acid while Prince just shook his head. "Don't ask." I sighed as we stood off to the side.
"I wasn't going to." He laughed, finding more humor in the way he pulled a stray fabric string off of my shoulder.
"What're you doing here anyway? You said it yourself, you're a busy man."
Prince found the strength to keep his hands to himself. "Your sister invited me!" He shook is head with a chuckle, "I figured I come and see what all her fuss was about." It must've been my uncle and his manipulative ways who pushed that into play. He loves to use personal lives as advantages, inside the courtroom, I doubt this realm is too different. I told him that was wrong but then again who was going to stop him? Later on, I should have thanked him because though I had no idea at the time, Prince showing up was a little too out of his element and his appearance was a beginning statement that I fondly look back on.
"I'm tired of you following me. Why are you always where I am," I joked as he broke his mental vow to keep his hands to himself. Aimlessly poking at me, his fingers tinkered with various parts of my outfit.
"I only come when you want me," He said taking off his sunglasses and looking me in the eyes. I was beginning to notice his patterns and though I couldn't predict them yet, I knew I wasn't in the mood for playing his games on that day. The innuendo completely flew past me.
I looked him up and down before I spoke with an attitude. "Do not."
"Do too." I just laughed. It was nothing else I could do. This guy was naturally a comedian and I was tone death. We were the perfect combination for our senses of humor. I was looking around and waving at people when he said, "Hey, where's my future wife?" He smirked with laughter in his voice, laughter that remained once I faced him. He stood on his tippy toes looking over my hat until I slapped his arm. My blow only increased his exhaling of entertainment. "I can't change the fact that your sister is a sex kitten!"
"We're twins, you ditz!"
Eyebrows raising, Prince shoved his hands into his pockets. "Well.." Calm though quite suggestive and somehow knowing, Prince's implication stands on its down.
"Get the fuck out."
His face sprung into a field of joy, the kind of joy he only found in antagonizing me. "Alright, alright! I'm done." We were casually laughing when Aaliyah joined the conversation and of course, things started to go left. "There she is." He said as he eyed her down upon arrival. I rolled my eyes. Major barf fest, I thought.
"Hey, Prince," She said, putting on her flirty persona. This was always the part that was lame. I hated the way she talked when flirting. I looked over Lenetta and Alexis, putting my finger in my mouth and gagging to demonstrate how I really felt. We laughed together from afar. "What're you gettin' all jealous for?"
"Whatever," I dismissively groaned, tuning out her negativity. I told you that she did that. She's always let's the presence of others change her attitude. She loved to look cool. I was preparing to exit due to Aaliyah telling Prince about her and Uncle Dorian's little mix up when he grabbed my hand, pulling me closer than I expected at a speed that made me dizzy.
"Who's she? She looks like a good time..." He pointed to Lenetta with interested eyes narrowing in on her. I snatched my arm out of his grip.
"I'm saying this once and only once, leave Lenny Aloneeeeeeeeeee." I put emphasis on the most three important word for a reason. Aaliyah was behind him with a sour face. I loved how the tables turned. "She's only eighteen and I don't need her in the mix of your influence."
