Questioned Love

New Friends

Steven's P.O.V:
I blushed deeply at the thought of what we might do with four days together. Then it hit me, "I'll bring her to the barn to see Lapis and Peridot, then we can go walking around or go on a mission with the others and she can sleep over!" I really didn't know what else to do so I'll ask her later. I went outside and Lion was nowhere to be seen. "LION! WHERE ARE YOU?" Then all of the sudden a portal opened next to me and Lion jumped through with Connie on his back. "Connie!" I yell and she jumps off Lion's back embracing me in a hug. When we pulled away Lion was just sitting there and looking at us. We laughed and I asked, "How did he know when to bring you?" "Oh," Connie replied with a smile, "He's been at my front door all night. Kinda freaked my parents out though." I blushed a little and said, "Well, he was protecting my best friend in the world" She blushed too. "Well, now that you're here, do you want to come meet Lapis and Peridot?"

Connie's P.O.V:
"Are those the new Crystal Gems?" I asked. He responded with a smile and said "Yes" "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" We both jump on Lion and he starts running there. While he was running I realized I was holding on to Steven a little too tight and blushed. "Am I holding on too tight Steven?" "No, not at all" When we got there I saw the little green dorito and the solemn blue gem. However, the moment the blue one saw us on Lion, she ran up to Steven, picked him up and hugged him. I was a little jealous at first but then she said, "Steven, who's your little girlfriend?" I blushed and looked at Steven for help. "Her name is Connie! We've been best friends for over a year!" "Hold on," I asked, "are you Lapis?" "Yeah. Me and Steven are Beach Summer Fun Buddies!" We all laughed. Then Peridot walked out of the barn and asked, "Steven, is this the life form named, Connie?" "Yes, Peridot, it is. Oh, hold on!" He laughed as he brought me around the barn.

Steven's P.O.V:
When I brought Connie around the barn, I could tell she wanted to say something in private. "Hey Steven," she whispered, "let's form Stevonnie!" I thought that was a great idea so I agreed and we started dancing and laughing. When Connie fell, I caught her and we fused.

Stevonnie's P.O.V:
"Ha ha!" I said in happiness, "I'm back!"
I walked back around the barn only to see shocked faces. "Ste-ven?" Lapis asks in shock. "Well, It's Stevonnie, but yeah!" I hugged her. Peridot just stood there. "How is that possible?" She asked. "Well, Steven's half gem, half human" the Connie side of me explained. "Not another perma-fusion!" Peridot complains. I blush at the thought of it.
"Steven, do you want to stay like this?"
"Kind of, but I just want to look at you"
I giggled and the others were confused. "I'm talking to myself, literally!" At that point I just burst out laughing. Lapis said, joining in, "Fusion joke!" Me and Lapis were on the ground laughing. Peridot just walked away.
