Questioned Love

The Magical Day

Stevonnie's P.O.V:
I wake up to find that we're still fused and slowly get up.
"Hey, Steven..."
"Yeah?"
"Do you mind unfusing for a little bit?"
"Sure. No problem."

3rd Person P.O.V:
Steven and Connie then unfused and took their showers to get ready for the day.

Steven's P.O.V:
"I still couldn't believe Pearl had that much bottled up anger." I thought. "Hey, um, Connie," I started. She looked at me with a curious look as if to ask, "Yes?" "I think we ought to give Pearl and the others some space." "Yeah, okay. What do you want to do today?" She asked. "Well, we could go to Funland." I smiled brightly. "Yeah, sounds like fun" she said, returning the smile.
~Time Skip to 12:00~

Connie's P.O.V:
After a while of playing arcade games, Steven won the cutest stuffed bear for me. To thank him, I kissed him on his cheek and he blushed. We then started going on the roller coasters a bit later in the day.
When got to the last roller coaster, we were a little nervous, but I grabbed Steven's hand and walked up to the coaster as confidently as I could. The ride was slow at first, but during the climb too the top, I looked at Steven and he looked at me. We leaned in close, and just a we were about to kiss, we rocketed down and he was thrown into me by the force of the fall.
Our faces were both as red as a tomato as we kissed on the way down. When we got off, we went to look at the picture. Sure enough, we were kissing the entire way down. Steven and I looked at each other and blushed deeply.
While we were walking back to my house, we held hands.

Steven's P.O.V:
While we were walking, I asked her, "I'm kind of hungry, do you want to go get some doughnuts?" "Sure!" She said, smiling brightly. As we walked in, Sadie greeted us and Lars made a dumb comment about me and Connie being together and making smooching noises. I ignored him and asked for two chocolate doughnuts. "Do you want me to make them fresh for you two?" "Please!" I said with a goofy smile on my face. Connie giggled, "Do you want show them Stevonnie? I want to see Lars' reaction." "What about me?" Lars says getting up. "Nothing." I quickly say and smile innocently. "Hmm... okay." He says. We start dancing and just as Sadie come back out to the front we fuse.

Stevonnie's P.O.V:
"Haha! I'm back!" I stood there smiling. Lars and Sadie stood there with their mouths agape. "WHAT?! You mean... that girl that came awhile back was you two?!" Lars yells. "H-How is this even possible?" Sadie asks. "Well, since Steven is half gem half human," the Connie side of me starts, "and Connie is human, I can fuse with her!" The Steven side of me finishes. I giggle, pay them for the doughnuts, and walk out. I get back to my/Connie's house, walk in, and unfused.

Connie's P.O.V:
The moment we unfused we started kissing passionately. I don't know what came over us, but we wouldn't stop until we were both out out breath and tired. When we pulled away, we were both blushing furiously. We walked up to my room holding hands and I said, "I-is that how you feel about me?" "Of course" he replied. "The moment I saw you on the beach that day, I had a crush on you. But then it developed into something more and I knew I'd love you. Do you feel the say way?" I kissed him again. "Of course." We got in my bed (not what you're thinking) and fell asleep.
