Questioned Love

Pearl's Anger

Pearl's P.O.V:
After we poofed the gem mutant, I rushed off to find Steven. I couldn't find him anywhere near the temple so I decided to ask Peridot and Lapis. When I was walking up to the barn I saw him with Connie. "They are just talking" I said to try and calm myself, "No need to be upset." I kept watching to be sure, then they walked to the back of the barn and came back as Stevonnie. I just lost it."I can't believe they fused again!" I stood up and started walking towards them and saw that they started laughing and fell on the ground. My walk turned into a run and I summoned my spear.

Stevonnie's P.O.V:
Me and Lapis couldn't stop laughing. It was so much fun!
"Steven look"
"What's wrong?"
"It's Pearl"
I suddenly stop laughing and got up. I look around and saw her running at us. She screamed, "Get away from my Steven!" I didn't have time to react. She thrust her spear into my stomach, only missing my gem by centimeters. I looked up with a horrified face and Pearl just stood there, shocked at what she did.
"Why?" I whispered.
I heard Lapis screaming.
Then everything went black.

This chapter is a little shorter b/c I really didn't know what to write and wanted to build as much suspense as possible. :)
