Pearl's P.O.V:
I shapeshifted into a hummingbird and flew off to make sure Steven and Connie were okay. When I got to Connie's house, I heard shouting. "What's going on in there?" I say to myself. I fly closer and see that Garnet was here, talking to Connie's parents.
"What? She said she had an important mission to go on! Well, I guess their happiness is important." I sighed. Then all of the sudden they fused and I saw Stevonnie. A little bit of yelling later, and Garnet unfused, showing off. Then they refused and walked out the front door going towards the temple. I followed them.

Stevonnie's P.O.V:
"I love being us, Connie"
"Me too, Steven."
"Connie, do you want to stay like this for a few days, just to see how we like it?"
"I wouldn't have it any other way."
That earned a smile and a quick leap forward in front of Garnet. "You two getting along well?" She asked, smiling. I blushed, saying"Better than well, Garnet. We feel amazing!" "Good" was all she said.

When we reached the beach, I walked along the shoreline with the water gently lapping at my feet, and the sun high in the sky. It was beautiful. Then all of the sudden Garnet came up behind me and picked me up. I laughed, "What are you doing Garnet?" "Having a little fun." She responded. I was about to ask what she meant when she decided to throw me into the ocean. I half screamed, half laughed because I knew Garnet wouldn't do anything to endanger me.

Garnet's P.O.V:
After I threw them, I heard a squawk behind me. "Garnet!"
"Yes, Pearl?"
"Why did you do that? You know they aren't like us!"
"Calm down, Pearl. We were just having a little fun. Oh, and I know you've been following us."
I knew Pearl was somewhat shocked, but she said, "Ugh! I can't believe you four!" With that, she stomped off.
I smiled, knowing I won yet another argument. When I looked back to where I threw Stevonnie, I saw her on top of Steven's shield, using it as a form of boat, but jumping off of it like a diving board.

Stevonnie's P.O.V:
After a while of having fun, the sun was starting to set. We decided to swim back and when I got to shore laughing, Garnet picked me up and set me down. "Lets go, its getting late." I smiled sweetly, "Ok, Garnet." And we set off toward the temple.

~Time Skip~

When we reached the house, it was already late and the sun was down. We walked in and Garnet left us alone together (see what I did there?) and walked into her room.

I walked up the steps to Steven's bed and laid down.
"I had a lot of fun today Steven."
"Me too Connie. I love you."
"I love you too Steven."
I blushed slightly and fell asleep smiling.
