Questioned Love

Steven's P.O.V:
"I have to get back there and tell Connie how I truly feel before the gems do anything too drastic" I thought. I was ready, but something is restricting my gem from allowing me to regenerate. I'll wait until it's gone.

Connie's P.O.V:
When Amethyst brought me back to the temple, all the gems were either sitting on the couch or leaning on the support columns.
"Did you already forgive Pearl?" I ask harshly as Amethyst put me down on the floor.
"No," answers Garnet, "we haven't." Lapis shakes her head. Peridot stayed quiet, and Amethyst said no.
"Amethyst, untie her." Garnet's says. Amethyst obeys. When her whip disappeared, Steven's gem fell on the floor.
I quickly pick it up and clutch it close before anybody had any time to react. "Connie, give me his gem" Garnet says. "No! You can't keep me away from him!" "I love him" I thought. She put a hand on my shoulder and I started to cry. My tears landed on his gem and it started to glow. "What? He's coming back!" I shouted in joy as I watch his gem start to float.

Steven'sP.O.V:
After I regenerated completely, Connie hugged me and without noticing the other gems, I blushed a little bit, then kissed her. Then I turned around and I felt my face turn red completely. They were all staring at me. I rubbed the back of my head and said "Um... I'm back! Hehe..." Pearl got up to hug me, but I didn't know that so I bubbled me and Connie by accident at that point.
"Um, Steven?" Pearl asked.
"Yeah?"
"Can you unbubble yourselves?"
"Why, are you gonna stab us again?" She looked hurt.
"I'm sorry Steven, I truly am. I just thought about Rose and thought that you would never come back."
I thought for a moment and popped the bubble. She hugged me, but still looked as if she was gonna cry. Lapis and Garnet were the next to hug me and then Peridot got up and shook my hand.
"Now, if you excuse us, I'm going to spend the rest of the three days I have left alone with Connie" I say grabbing her hand and started to walk out the door.
"Steven," Pearl started.
I ignored her and kept walking through the door. "Connie, did you really mean what you said yesterday?"
She blushed "You- you heard that?"
"I heard everything yesterday"
"Of-  Of course! Uh I mean... yes." She blushed deeper.
"Well, I love you too."
We kissed and after we pulled away, I could see Pearl watching us when I looked back up at the house. We started walking to Connie's house when we came to the spot where we first fused. I asked, "Do you want to fuse?" "I don't know, is Pearl gonna split us again?" She said smiling. "Ha ha, let's look first." We looked around and didn't see anything suspicious so I held out my hand to her. She took it we started dancing, When she fell, I leaned in and kissed her. Then we fused.

Stevonnie's P.O.V:
I opened my eyes and giggled. "I'm back!" I then ran to Connie's home trying to avoid the boardwalk since that creep Kevin took us dancing. When we got there it was late, so I went up to Connie's room and got in bed.
"Comfortable, Steven?"
I giggled "Yeah, this just feels weird."
I laughed and fell asleep quickly.
