Questioned Love

His Gem

Steven's P.O.V:

I heard everything. "Connie loves me?" I thought. "I love her too. I just never thought she felt the same way..." I couldn't believe what I just heard. "She loves me!" I just shouted with excitement in my gem. "Who loves you Steven?" said someone behind me. I freeze, and slowly turn around and see a beautiful woman with curly pink hair and a white dress. I gazed at her and couldn't take my eyes off of her. "Hello, Steven" "M-mom, is- is that you?" I ask. "Yes, Steven." She gives me a bright smile. "Now, who loves you?" "Uhh... Connie! Her name is Connie." I blushed really hard. "She is the most amazing girl ever! She is smart, beautiful- *gasp* Connie. I have to get back to her! How do I get back to my Connie?" I asked tearing up. She just looked at me and smiled sweetly. "Good luck Steven, I love you" and just like that she disappeared. Now I had some time to think.

Connie's P.O.V:

I got home at around six o clock with tears in my eyes. "I can't believe he's gone" I thought to myself as I was clutching his gem close to me. "Why would Pearl do that? He might never return to me and it's all her fault." No. I can't think like that. I have to believe he will come back. I go up to my room still clutching his gem and grab a comfy pillow and place his gem on top. I get in bed tired and somewhat sore from the events of the day and slowly fall asleep sad.
Dreaming:
I wake up in a dark room wearing my sword fighting gear and look around. Nobody is around as far as I can see. So I decided to try something. "Hello?" I called into the hallway. Then I heard sobbing. I know that sob. I call out. "Steven?! Are you okay?" I ran to the noise but what I saw wanted me to cry. He was in a chamber, a torture chamber, I thought since there were bloody tools and Steven had scars all over him. His clothes were ripped and he was crying. I run over to him and I hear something behind me. I turned around and saw an orange gem running towards me.
Awake:
I almost jumped off my bed and pick up Steven's gem. I couldn't get that dream out of my head and never put down his gem until noon. I didn't have anything to eat for breakfast, so I just went to the Big Doughnut to grab a couple of doughnuts. While I was walking there, I looked at Steven's gem and kept talking to it, "Steven, you may not be able to hear me, but please come back, I miss you." I started to tear up but then I saw the Big Doughnut and pulled myself together.
When I arrived I saw Amethyst talking to Sadie. I tried to walk past unnoticed but to no avail. When Sadie saw me she waved. That caught Amethyst's attention. She looked around and when she saw me, her smile was crazy wide. She started running at me and yelled, "Come here, Connie!" I tried running but she just turned into a speed ball and wrapped me up in her whip. "Ugh, Amethyst! Let me go!" "Sorry, Connie the others want to talk to you" "As in the others, do you mean...?" "Yeah", she yawned, "Lapis, Pearl, Garnet, and I." There was nothing I could do except sit there While she dragged me back to the temple. She was nice enough to carry me up the steps.
