Part 7

Outside hande's house:
Koray was waiting for hande to come. He had been trying to talk to hande for couple of days after the divorce settlement was coming to an end, but hande remained elusive to him. She was avoiding all his calls and trials to meet him. The other day koray waited at the caf for the entire day but hande didn't come. She was determined to stay away; in no way she wanted to break his house. She knew the pain of living without a father.
Koray knew the injustice that he was doing by staying in the loveless marriage, he felt trapped, he felt like a prisioner. It was time to let go of the shackles so that gulsum and he both could live a better life and provide their son a better environment to grow. He knew this marriage was damaging all three of them.
Hande had just reached outside the gate of of her house, koray saw her car pulling up infront of the gate and went up to her.
Hande lowered her window ;"koray , I don't want to repeat the same thing again. Its over koray"
"hande , I want to tell you the same thing , it can never be over. Hande and koray can never be over"
"koray, I have come to terms with our relationship and don't expect me to come back again to you"
"our story is not over yet"
"our story ended when you stopped trusting me koray, you lost me because of that"
"I have paid price of that, hande"
"You haven't koray"
Hande raised her window and left.
In the evening feriha and emir:
Emir came out of after taking shower , he was getting ready and feriha was on the bed whirling the bedsheet around her finger.
"should we go out for dinner?" asked feriha
"as you say"
Feriha got up from the bed and started buttoning emir's shirt "where do you want to go?" asked emir
"anywhere, where you like."
"okay get ready"
Feriha changed quickly. Emir was checking his phone while waiting for feriha. He looked up when feriha came "you were very quick. Let's go" feriha smiled back.
He held out his arm and she slipped her hand around his armand they left.
They ate dinner, discussing things in general and then went out for the walk by sea.
It was growing cold, so feriha got closer to emir for some warmth. Emir put his arm around her "if you are feeling cold, we can leave"
"no. I want to be here for sometime"
"the sea is very soothing"
"hmmm...i know it soothes you"
They stopped to watch the sea. Emir stood behind feriha, his arms wrapped around her. They stood there to hear the sound of waves. Moon high up in the sky leaving that silvery reflection in the sea. It was a sight to behold.
Emir bent low a bit, feriha could feel his breath on her cheeks. He turned her slowly around " feriha we should plan our wedding"
"I know , you are right, but I want to talk to dad first. I am waiting for mom to come. She said she will come soon, it will get easier to talk to him then"
"okay. Its getting really cold, we should leave now"
"alright"
On the way back home in the car:
" I am going to start club from tomorrow"
Feriha nodded
"I am also going to call ece tomorrow and terminate her association with night'"
Feriha remained quite.
"emir, there are things about levent that I will like to discuss with you regarding hotel shares, I will do that once you finish with your club related work"
"ok"
Zehra called riza
"riza ,how are you?"
"I am fine. How are you and omer?"
"we are fine too. Riza I was planning to come to Istanbul"
"but how will you come alone zehra"
"I will come with our young boy omer, he can very well take care of me now riza."
"as you wish zehra"
"I will leave from here tonight and reach there tomorrow morning riza"
"I will come to pick you up at the bus stop zehra"
"bye see you"
"See you"
