"I'm falling from cloud 9!" Wide awake by Katy Perry blasts through the car radio. I finally understand what it feels like to "be falling from cloud 9." I look over into his sparkling blue eyes, but they are already looking at me. The best feeling. "Red light!" I scream as I notice he almost ran the red light while looking over at me. The car finally comes to a stop. I roll the window down, feeling the wind in my hair. I make a mental note; forever and all too well remember that you have never been so happy, so... in love until right now. We glance over at each other and burst out in singing "I'm wide awake, not losing any sleep, I picked up every piece and landed on my feet." I feel the car shift and move once again. I don't know why, but I have this feeling that something is not completley right with him; I just don't know why. As the song fades, I see him look over at me and look as if he were about to say something. "So, something has really been on mind these last few days." Wjat could it possibly be? Luckily, my ohone rang a few seconds later, ruining the moment. I see the name come up, "Paula." Paula is my publicist. "I have to answer this." I symathetically say.
~ Phone Conversation~
Taylor: Hey Paula
Paula: Hey Taylor. We need you for a meeting with the new stage designers tomorrow in Nashville by 2 PM and you HAVE to be there or there is no tour!
Taylor: How do I get there? I'm in New York right now!
Paula: That's not my problem, I jst need you to be there
Taylor: Fine, I'll be there *angirly hangs up*
~ End of Conversation~
"What was that?" Jake asks me. "My publicist called and said I have a really important meeting with my new stage designer in Nashville tomorrow and it is absolutley mandatory. I can't go on the private plane because my mom blocked me off from that when she got all mad at me and the tour bus is in Nashville right now and nobody can come up here." The words resinate in my head, "No tour, no tour, no tour, no tour." "If anything, this sounds like a sign that we should have an insane road trip." I just smile and laugh, something I've been doing alot lately.
