Riley POV
I rolled out of bed after turning off my alarm to walk the dogs. I picked up Kenzi on my way down the stairs, and when I put her down, she started going berzerk! I placed a leash on Cass's collar, and eventually managed to do the same with Kenzi. I took them outside, and made sure to close the door as quietly as possible, as to not wake anyone up.
I was walking down the block toward the park, when I saw something slam into the willow tree. It was the girl from before. I wonder what she was doing next to the park at 5 in the morning? I asked her who she was, and the second she said her name, I instantly remebered.
"RI!!! It's me! RILEY!!" I squealed to her.

Well, we all have our secrets...
I went back home after discovering this new thing about a friend I've known for so long, but never knew it. I closed my door, and locked it shut. I closed the blinds after flipping on the light switch. I stretched out my LARGE angel like wings. They stretched across the room, and knocked over my nightstand in the process. I heard a knocking at my door, so I quickly folded my wings to my back, and unlocked the door. Not even my mother knew I had wings. It had always been my secret that I told nobody. But I felt as though I had to tell at least Ri, because she would understand how hard it was to keep a secret like this. How people would think I was a freak, and didn't belong anywhere I went...
