Riley POV
I stepped into the castle after Ri, and gazed around at the high ceilings and crystal chandelier. We walked around the entrance for a bit, then decided to explore the other rooms. I went to the right (Because right is always right) and walked into the entrance to what seemed to be some sort of office. There were two brown chairs behind a desk. One said RILEY in a sparkly black color, and the other said RI in a shiny gold color.
I walked back out of the room, and went up the stairs. There were two bedrooms at the top, so I went into the one that said Riley at the top of the door. There was a bed that had white and black tiger print on it. In the middle of the room, there were 3 large suitcases. I opened one up, and it was filled with clothes. I mean, that's good. We kinda left everything back at our houses, so clothes will be helpful, I thought.
In the next suitcase there was a few pairs of shoes, some books, an iPad, and a laptop.
"YES!" I accidentally said out loud.
I looked around, and put my clothes in the closet, and some in the dresser. I ran down the stairs with the laptop and put it on the desk in front of my chair. I found a note on the desk from the Spirit of the Land.
Girls, I know it hasn't been that long, but I have a quest for you. I section of the darkness has moved to take over Utah, USA. You girls must travel there in the sky, where you will find the darkness. They can take the form of anything, so be careful who you trust. They can mimic anything, except for your black wings, and Ri's gold wings. Riley, you can read their minds to know what their purpose is, even though we know it will most likely be bad. You can destroy them with a certain amount of happiness, which Ri can blast them with the beams of happiness. I wish you luck, and report back here as soon as you get back.
I showed the letter to Ri after she ran down the stairs to me, and we started to get ready to leave.
