26. Another Medley of Clichés

26. HIGH SCHOOOLL

So, this is here again. More high school clichés because of course it can't all be put into one chapter. Freaking impossible. WHY DO A LONG DRAWN OUT INTO LIKE YOU GUYS KNOW WHAT THIS IS LET US START.

SHE TRIPPIN':

So, in these cliches, the main character is walking with her friend, right? Casual, everything is good. They are talking about weird things but it's pleasing that they aren't really talking about anything.

Then, it happens.

Now, my peripheral vision happens to be pretty great. So even if I'm looking up, I guess I can see things that are on the ground or things/people that I'm coming up on, even when I'm looking or talking to my friends. But in her defense, maybe she didn't see the frEAKING THING SHE ALL OF A SUDDEN TRIPS ON.

Like what can be big enough to which you tripped on it? Did she really trip on air? Did she trip on her other foot? DID SHE JUST LEARN HOW TO WALK? This is why teachers say no horseplaying in the hallways.

IS IT EVEN POSSIBLE TO JUST RANDOMLY TRIP? BITCH IT WAS A GHOST. Call the GhostBusters.

But maybe what she tripped on was transparent/the color of the floor. I remember one time, this girl fell because she slipped on a piece of paper. Understandable.

Here comes the cliché. The bad boy/fuckboy is walking in front of her with the Ryder Black Squad, and she bumps into the "brick wall" as she falls, and sometimes, she brings him down with her.

Typically, this ends one of two ways: he acts like a total fuckboy and pretends everything is fine and helps them both up because she's pretty and he wants that pussy. But, eventually it turns out that he was mad and wanted to punch her. Whatever.

Or, he acts like a total asshole. He gets all mad because she "pushed him" or "bumped into him" and he proceeds to act like an asshole until he realize that she has a body like Alba and decides to act like even MORE of an asshole because he knows how clichés go and knows that either way, he's gonna get in those pants.

These are stupid. NEEXXTT.

GANG GANG GANG:

So, I really see this cliché as funny. Like it's so contradictory that it scares me. I honestly don't even know.

It occurs when the main character gets up to go to the bathroom in class. No big deal, maybe she had to change her pad or something like that. It happens.

She's walking to the restroom, and she's trying to fix her braid or whatever. She's now in the restroom, doing EVERYTHING but changing her pad. Like did you forget that tampon that you put in your backpocket/sock? Get a move on!

Then, as expected, Ashley Whoresley and her friends come into the restroom and see the GG. At this point, I'm silently laughing. Were they IRONICALLY out of class at the same time? Were they skipping? Where are the hall monitors??

They start trying to lowkey say these slick things, and she silently goes into the stall. I think this is funny because she had ALL that to say earlier in the novel, but now she is quiet? I don't understand try-hards.

THEN THEY CALL THEMSELVES TRYING TO COAX HER OUT OF THE STALL AND SHE FALLS FOR IT! I seriously worry about these stupid MCs like why does she fall for things like some girls calling your dead mom stupid? Would you rather be attacked because some girls were saying things about your mom?

I honestly.. I don't know.

Then, then gang up on her! Like they literally call themselves trying to JUMP on this girl in the restroom! I've never seen anything like it honestly, why try to jump someone in such a small area? Stupid stupid stupid.

They get all in her face and say all this stuff and push her against the sink a little bit, and she hits her rib or something and she falls. Bruise forms. This is where I usually get pissed.

Like, bitch you had so much to say earlier in the book! All of a sudden, she mean girl brings a couple of her friends and you have nothing to say? But I guess she's scared of getting jumped or something.

Then, the BB, who is IRONICALLY outside of class at the same time as all of them, gets all nosey with the commotion and decides to walk into the GIRLS BATHROOM. HOLD UP-

I'm guessing the GG would be grateful, but I would be all awkward honestly. I mean, of course I would! A dude, in the girl's restroom! I don't know.

Then, he stops all that and drags the GG out of the restroom and she's flinching because of her side and how bad it hurts and he discovers her large forming bruise and yeah. Just craziness.

All she wanted to do was change her pad, gosh. Now she's leaking, so thanks assholes.

DETENTION BUDDIES:

At least the teachers at my school were somewhat rational wtf. The teachers in these clichés are so fucking bullshit it makes me want to cry. They're so quick to call detention on someone!

Teachers at my school didn't care at all. Oh, you're fighting? WELL WE'LL JUST LET YA FIGHT UNTIL AN ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL COMES OR SOMETHING OH WELL. LMFAO TEACHERS DONT CARE AT ALL.

But teachers in these clichés literally give you a detention slip for breathing too loud or asking for notes. FUCKING JEEZ. TEACHERS ARE HARSH IN CLICHÉS.

And it turns out that Alec Ryder happens to get detention every day? They ironically get detention together. Alec and GG. I will never understand.

And she typically doesn't deserve it, the teachers in cliches are just assholes for no reason smh.

And finally,

..

I actually dont have a last one. Like seriously. I tried to think but I couldn't. Plus a lot of the ideas I got were derived from other chapters I did so I cant talk about those.

SO IF ANY OF THIS SHIT HAPPENS IN REAL LIFE AND YOU SEE IT, PUT ON UR BOXING GLOVES AND BE READY TO FIGHT BECAUSE CLIIICCHHHHEEEEEEE WE DONT FUCK WITH THEM NO NO NOOO.
