Howling At The Moon chapter 5

                              Wolves running attacking me, trying to kill me. My own pack, Andrew holding me down,"get off me" i screamed in pain and horror of what he was doing. My father cheered him on yelling "give her what she deserves" i cried and cried as he sucked all my dignity up. There was blood all on the floor, i woke up in a hospital bed holding a baby that looked like me but i wasnt smiling at this child i was crying."Whats going on, where am i"                                                            

"AHHHHHHHH" i woke up again another bad dream. I looked to my side and saw Lola was in the bed with me and James, we forgot to leave her outside. I got up out of the green colored Queen sized bed carefully and went to the bathroom. I decided to take a shower to wash out any dirt from yesterdays swim. I took off my yellow tank top and grey short and hoped in, I looked in the mirror and saw all the scars in my back. The longiest one was across back from my shoulder to my spine. I saw the other scratches and markes from recently, I hated the fact i had so many. I turned and saw the scar by my belly button. I started the water and let it soak into my hair, I closed my eyes and tried to relax. 

"Gwen are you here" I heard Adams voice and shut the water off, grabbed the towel and walked to the closed bedroom door. I opened it slowly "yeah im right here", "oh great, hey were you in the shower. I can come back later" Adam said "yeah i was in the shower, but its ok" i said with a slight smile, "come in" i told him opening the door wider for him. "since when did you have a dog" he asked as he looked at Lola, "well we found her and now im keeping her, but you cant tell my dad" i explained. "Well thats kinda what im here to tell you about" Adam said "what" i asked. "Well you see, your dad wanted you to know that he is leaving for a little while and a few months he said he wanted to go on his own some where different. He gave you money he said something about it being in his" i enturepted "top drour" "yeah, how did you know" Adam said smiling. "I have been watching where he has put all his money for years", "oh ok i got you" he said smacking his hands together. We both got up and went into the kitchen,"im going to make breakfast you want" i asked Adam "no, im going to make breakfast" he said getting up and pulling his brown hair back revealing his green eyes. "what" i asked, "your going to make breakfast" i told him surprised, "yeah, i know how. And this is the perfect oppurtunity to show you how great i am", "well i already knew you were great Adam" i told him laughing at how weirdly kind he was being. 

I got up from the table leaving the "Great One" to his masterpiece of cooking and went inside to get dressed. I put on my white t-shirt and tan pants, "James wake up" i said shacking James small body. "James wake up, dad isnt here no more" he opened his eyes "why isnt he here", "He went somewhere and wont be back for a while. Its just me and you now" I told James as we both smiled and laughed at the little yawing puppy that had sleepy eyes. 

We all were in the kitchen, i just finished feeding Lola some sausages and Adam had made some eggs and pancakes with lots more sausages. "You guys like my masterpieace"Adam asked, "yes" James said happily, "no" i told him. "What, whats wrong with it. Let me fix it for you" Adam got up ready to take the plate "no i dont like it, I LOVE it" I told him "well thanks, i did do pretty good didnt I" he said all happy. "You want to know what i love." Adam asked me starring in my eyes "what" i asked, "I love your smile, every morning i hope to see you so i can see your amazing smile" he said, I felt myself turn red. "Well thats great, thank you" I told him, we didnt talk for the rest of the time and soo enough i was thanking and hugging Adam good bye.

 "What now" James asked while we sat on the bed and turned on cartoons. "Well we could go and give Lola a walk" I told hi, "Ge Ge could you give it to her" he said. "Sure" i knew he was tired so i grabbed the leash gave him a kiss and walked out the front door. I walked Lola up the road and  saw Andrew and Jack talking, I was about to turn around but Jack called me over. "Gwen come here and meet Andrew" Jack yelled, i slowly walked over toward them and as i got close i looked at Andrew who was looking me up and down. "Hi Andrew", "hey Gwen"  Andrew said smiling as if he was pleased. "Hey Jack" i said with a smile and Jack put his hand on my face and rubbed his thumb over the scare he gave me and i could see he was sorry. "So, i have to go im sorry, I need to get back to my brother" i said as i started to try to back away. "Wait  i needed to ask you something" Jack said rushing toward me, "what" i asked. "Have you met Chase", "yeah why, he is new", "yeah well, he has been eyeing Rina and well Rina and Ashley like you so you shuld hang out with them and keep a on him for me". "And why would i do that" i asked "Well because I am a alpha and to be honest you kind of have to" , "excuse me" i said wondering why he was acting like this. "Listen just hang out with them ok, please" Jack said as he got on his knees "I cant loose Rina, she is like everything to me" Jack said these words but they didnt feel like he ment them, but i still  agreed and found myself running home.

It was late at night and as me James a Lola slowly closed our eyes i thought about what will i do if Chace comes and talks to Rina, or if i fail to do what Jack asked me to do what will happe to me. As i bloacked all my questions out, i finally fell asleep.
