I sit down on the couch, trying to look shaken up. Liam sits so close to me, our legs are touching. He grips my hand and occasionally rubs my palm with his thumb. Scott is pacing and Stiles looks dry mouthed. Paige is wrapping her arms around his waist and Lydia looks at me like she knows something.
You're not back.
I hear her voice in my head. I'm staring at the coffee table and a chuckle starts to fizz out of me as I look up. Liam's grip loosens and I am now laughing louder, louder, louder. I stand up and wail,
"You guys thought I was back? You thought I was fixed?" Lydia mumbles something under her breath and Scott stops pacing in front of me. Stiles Stands up and Paige growls. I cock my head. Cassidy and Malia are now standing up as well and they all circle around me. Even Liam.
"Well," I chuckle. "You were wrong." I close my eyes and all send a scream into their heads. I use my Videns power to send it. Next things next, we are all in the school parking lot. it's dark out. I hear thunder. I turn my ear up to it, smiling. Scott screams over the thunder,
"You aren't going to get away with this, Grace! It's not you!" He clenches his fists into balls and Paiges and Liam's eyes are now glowing. Liam starts to rush towards me, but I use my reflexes and push him away. But by mistake I push him down. He skids across the pavement, groaning.
"I guess all that pain caused me to have more power than I thought." I smile at Scott and look at bloody Liam. Though, when I look at him, scratched and bleeding, I feel a weird feeling in my stomach. I straighten my posture and my eyebrows are now furrowed, eyes wide. But I snap out of it.
"All Foxes have a weakness. Liam is her weakness!" Cassidy screams. I turn to her,
"You don't know what you're talking about!" I'm just about to run over and snap her arm again when I feel Scott run up to me. Right before I whip around to face him, I see Hayden somehow by Liam's side. Scott is now almost nose to nose with me. It's started raining. Droplets drop down his nose and across his eyebrows. His eyes are both hurt and full of strength.
I need that power.
I whip my arm and twist his elbow, him crying out in pain. I smile, feeling it already. I twist my neck, cracking it as my charge is rushing into my veins. Scott cries out some more, and finally gets enough strength to pull away from me. He stumbles to the ground.
I needed that power to do what I want to do next.
I walk over to Liam and Hayden.
