"Marcelo, why did you SEND HER A SNAPCHAT!?" Karim grabbed his phone back, glaring.
"I don't know, man, it just went on its own, I guess. This snapchat thing is a bit new for me but I like your girly. Sha-Shaheen, right? Well, guys, his Shaheen called me cute. You should totally marry someone who finds me cute."
Karim scoffed, "Whatever. Besides, Shaheen and I are just friends."
Others were laughing. "She just called him a bald fucker. I approve of this girl," Dani grinned.
"And you're not just friends, okay? My ship can't sink before it sails. Hell, my ships always sail. HASHTAG SHARIMFTW!" Isco shouted.
Keylor whispered, "Relationships which are based on basic banter have very low chances of succeeding."
Toni tutted with pity, "Besides how many people do we know who find their perfect partner over social apps?"
"I don't know," James smiled, looking proudly at Cristiano who blushed and shrugged happily.
"Guys, guys, you're blowing it out of proportion, seriously," Karim whined.
Marcelo grabbed back the phone and opened the screenshot.
"Give it back! And why the hell did you need to take a screenshot!? She'll think I'm weird."
Isco chimed in, "That means there is more to your relationship than what you say."
"Yeah," Nacho nodded, "it means you care about what she thinks of you."
Karim's ears reddened. "W-what, no. I don't, I don't care."
Jese whistled as he looked at the screenshot with Marcelo, "Karim, Shaheen is hot, like in a cutesy way, but totally hot."
His friend gave him a glare.
Jese coughed, "Uh I say it as an objective third party opinion with no personal interest in the matter of course."
Everyone was giving Karim the thumbs-up regarding Shaheen now.
"And she has a great sense of humour," Gareth said. "It'll complement your personality."
