Chapter 3

Hello...it's me. I was wondering I'm after all this time you would like to read chapter 3. Don't judge me. So I'm kind of excited for this chapter because Lauren gets to experience her first day of school as a guy.

Lauren's POV
When we started walking down the rapidly filling hallways, people kept staring at me. It was pretty weird because I kept getting these little flirty winks or smiles from girls and I'm pretty sure I saw at least one guy do the same. I was about to head toward my locker but forgot that I was "Harry", not "Lauren". So I just followed Normani and Dinah to their lockers.

"Damn Ralph, you've already got people's attention and all you did was walk down a hallway!", Dinah said quietly as she was looking at the different people shooting glances in our direction as they pass by. I just ran my fingers through my curls while leaning against a locker, hoping to catch a glimpse of a certain brown haired girl.

"Yeah, but I don't care about them right now. I want to see Camila's face when she sees 'Harry'." I was really anxious about her reaction to the new me since this pretty much happened because of her.

"You'll probably see her around soon, and if not you could just see her in glee. You are trying out for glee right?", Mani was probably right about seeing her around soon.

"Yeah, I'm trying out. The only bad thing is I don't even know if I can actually sing with my new man voice." Hopefully I don't sound like a whale doing mating calls. I also hope my voice doesn't crack like most guys have problems with. If my voice cracked around Dinah my name would officially be changed to Squeaky by her.

"Well the good thing about Mr.Lambert is that even if you suck, you still get in the club. I wouldn't worry too much La- I mean Harry", Dinah caught her mistake while trying to be somewhat reassuring about me getting into glee.

"Thanks, I guess. I just hope I don't sound like an idiot in front of Camila." Not that I haven't before.

"Worry about it when the time comes, for now let's just get to class." Mani always tries to get to class on time. I'm lucky I have classes with at least one of them for every class.

I was able to make it to lunch time without making a complete fool of myself, so points for that. Mani, Dinah, and I walk in and take a seat at our usual table. Our table is at the opposite end of the room of where Camila and her friends usually sit.

Dinah and Mani were talking about something Beyoncé related so I kind of just tuned it out. After a couple of minutes, I hear chairs scraping and looked up to see a group of guys had come over to sit at our table. It was Luke, Calum, Michael, Ashton, Louis, Zayn, Niall, and Liam. They were all in glee club with us.

"Hey we all heard you were new here and we thought you could use some friends around here, not that these two are bad company", Liam winks at Mani and Dinah in a friendly manner before giving me a warm smile. "We also thought we could use another male voice in our glee club, would you be interested? I promise it's not as lame as it sounds." I guess since they saw me sitting with Mani and Dinah they decided to ask.

"Sure, why not. Um is there anything I have to do to get in?", even though I already know the answer.

"Yeah, all you have to do is sing a song and see if our teacher, Mr.Lambert, will let you join." Which he will.

"Sounds good. I'm Harry by the way." Liam then goes to introduce himself and the other boys sitting at our table. I sat there chatting with the guys and getting to know them more. Even though we are all in glee club together, I never really hung out with them before. They were some cool guys to hang with. Mani and Dinah joined in talking as well so it was pretty fun.
