I took the floo network to Malfoy Manor on the day of Easter. The Manor was large and dark and just all around drab and depressing. I sighed deeply. It was going to be a long day.

"Laila," said Draco. "You look beautiful." At that I blushed. I was wearing a dark green dress that came down to my mid calves. My hair was up in an elaborate bun and I was wearing the locket he gave me.

"Right this way," he said. I followed him to the dining room where his parents were seated. Narcissa looked beautiful in a cold kind of way and his father had a resting expression of malcontent.

"Welcome," said Lucius. I took a seat next to Draco. The family then began to serve the food and Draco walked me through the whole meal. Once the eating had ceased, the conversation started.

"Do you remember your comeback from the first visit to Diagon Alley?" Lucius asked. I nodded. "I have revised my opinion on it and I have decided it is unacceptable," he said.

Narcissa gave him a look. I stared down at the table. "All these mudbloods running around not knowing how to behave," Lucius muttered. I raised my head. Draco stared at his father in shock.

"I can see when I'm not wanted," I stated. I stood up from the table and walked out slowly back to the fireplace. I heard footsteps after me and Lucius say, "Draco sit down," before I escaped the oppressive atmosphere of Malfoy Manor.
