The train ride scared me. Let's just say that I will never commit a crime ever. Dementors are just to scary.

The first day, I had DADA with our new professor. Professor R.J. Lupin. I felt like I knew him. I had definitely seen him before. He seemed so familiar and I just couldn't place where I'd seen him before. This was going to bug me until I figured it out.

"Our first lesson will be on boggarts," he said. "There is one in the coat closet that is in the staff room. The professor have graciously agreed to move it here for our practice. Please form a line in front of the wardrobe."

Everyone scrambled to make a line and I just walked calmly to the back. I was not so keen on facing the boggart seeing as I didn't know what my worst fear was. The readings about boggarts have taught me that they form into your worst fear.

"Everyone repeat after me," said Lupin. "Riddikulus."

"Riddikulus," repeated the class. After that, I spaced out. When class was over, I grabbed my bag and made to depart the room.

"Laila," said Lupin. "Can I speak with you?"

"Of course professor," I answered.

"Your mother was Sicily, yes?" he asked. I nodded.

"I knew her," he said. "She was one of my best friends along with Harry's parents."

"Anything else?" I asked rather rudely.

"I am your godfather," he said.

After I left the classroom, I ran to find Draco because we both had break. I had a hard time finding him though because he changed his hair and he also wasn't in any of the usual places that we would meet up in. I finally found him in the library which is the last place I expected him to be. Furthermore, he was actually doing homework.

"This is most unlike you," I said when I sat down at his table.

"Arithmancy comes surprisingly easy to me," he answered.

"Arithmancy is not my cup of tea, so to speak, so I'm taking Ancient Runes and Divination."

"Ugh, Divination," he said. "I honestly don't understand how you can make it through that class."

"It's a hard time," I answered sarcastically. "Anyway, I have something to tell you. My mother went to school with your father and Professor Lupin. Lupin is my godfather."

Draco's head shot up. "Furthermore," I said, "she was friends with Harry's parents."

"Was she friends with mine?" he asked.

"I don't know," I answered. "But, it would make sense because your father hates me less now."
