We traveled back to London a couple of weeks later. Diagon Alley was as crazy as ever the week before school starts. People were everywhere and fighting my way through them with Draco in tow was very difficult.

We had ditched his parents a while back and headed into Flourish and Blotts for our school books. Draco rolled his eyes at the crowd of people scrambling to see the famous Gilderoy Lockhart.

"Honestly," he said. "Weirdos all of them."

"We're gonna have to buy all those books you know," I pointed out. He sighed deeply.

"Let's go upstairs," he decided. We trudged up the stairs and stood on the balcony to overlook the signing session.

That's when I saw Harry. He was standing up next to Lockhart while the photo guy for the paper took pictures.

Draco scoffed. He began to walk down the stairs and when he got halfway down he ripped a page out of a book. I slapped him upside the head and he winced. "Famous Potter," he said. "Can't even walk into a bookshop without making the front page."

"Leave him alone," growled Ginny.

"Look Potter. You've got yourself a girlfriend," he answered.

"Draco play nice," said Lucius, walking into the shop.

"Lucy," I nodded.

"Mudblood," he returned. I left Flourish and Blotts after that and finished buying all of my school supplies.

From down the alley I saw Draco and his father stalk or of the shop. I turned around to walk away and bumped straight into Narcissa Malfoy.

"Mrs. Malfoy," I said.

"Miss Matthews," she answered. Besides Draco she was the only Malfoy who respected me.

But how to get Lucius to like me?
