Epilogue

( since this fanfic is finished I started a new one! It's called 'The Letter' I hope if you want to read it you enjoy it! I also hope you enjoyed this book even though I've been writing it for over four months )

Katniss POV

"Please welcome Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark!"

I take Peeta's hand as we walk out onto the interview stage. We sit on the stools that are set up for us and said hi to the presenter, Caesar, trying to give him an awkward sit down hug, which we didn't think through before we sat down.

"So if it isn't the star-crossed lovers of the Big Brother House," Caesar starts, "so we've had people kiss or hook up in the house before but we've never had a full on romance, I mean the show was three years ago and people still talk about you two all the time, it does of course help that you are one of the most famous singers and actors of right now, so tell me, what happened when you left that house three years ago?"

"Well we moved in together after about a month of being out, of course for most of that month we were doing interviews and press for just coming out of the house. Then after about a month of living in our house, Katniss went on tour and I joined her for the first four months of it until I had to come and do a movie-" Peeta tells Caesar but Caesar soon stops him.

"So tell me how does that work? Do you get into arguments about being away from each other or?"

"No, it's work, it's just like any other job to us. Even if we had normal jobs instead of the ones we actually do have it wouldn't make a difference to our relationship" I tell him.

"I understand, so now, there was a very controversial picture that you posted to your Instagram Katniss. And of course people had their theories but since you are wearing it today I have to ask, are you two engaged?"

Me and Peeta look at each other before he smiles lovingly at me. I turn back to Caesar and nod, "Yes we are"

The audience goes crazy with cheers and claps, "Oh goodness congratulations!" Caesar exclaims, "so I take it this is recent?" He asks when the crowd has died down.

"No actually we've been engaged for about two months but no ones ever commented on it, in any picture so we just didn't address it but then the other day we just decided we wanted to tell everyone" Peeta tells him.

"So is the wedding soon? I will look forward to receiving an invite" Caesar teases.

"Um we don't know, with our schedules it just depends because we want to put our heart and soul into it. It'll be a more private event, even though Katniss and I first met and got together in front of the public, our relationship now is much more private and intimate" Peeta explains as I nod in agreement.

"Of course, it's your day. But I have to ask can we expect any little Katniss' or Peeta's to be running around any time soon?" Caesar asks us both.

"In the future but not anytime soon" I answer, "as Peeta said its a crazy busy time for our careers so I think that when everything and everyone has settled then that'll happen"

THIRD PERSON POV

And of course it did. Over the next decade Katniss and Peeta's careers reached a high but then sometime in the middle of that high it started to go quiet. Quiet enough that they finally decided to have a baby. And over the next 5 years another.

The public still remained intrigued by their lives of course, they would be forever known as that couple who fell in love on TV but despite all the odds, all the mean comments and all the negative thoughts on their relationship, they stayed together through it all.

And they upheld their vow to stay together. Always.
