Ava woke up to the strong smell of a sunflower. She looked next to her bed and found one. Before she had come into the common room last night, her and Draco stole a few more kisses. Only stopping because the fat lady started yelling at them. Just before she went in, Draco conjured a sunflower and slid it behind her ear, whispering in her ear, "How could I forget something that came out of your beautiful mouth?"

Last night with Draco had not been a dream, it had been real. She kissed Draco Malfoy. She couldn't believe it. She was supposed to hate him.

She had to decide whether or not to tell her family. She was embarrassed to admit to them that both her mother and brother were right. Granted, if the word gets out, her siblings that go to Hogwarts with her would find out. She wanted to tell her brother first, but not yet. Ava decided she needed to discuss things with Draco first, to clear things up.

Getting out of bed, she quickly got dressed, changing into leggings and a light blue cropped t-shirt with her white shoes, throwing her hair into a messy bun. She looked to her left and saw that Ginny had made her way upstairs at some point in the night and was still asleep in her own bed. Deciding to let her sleep, Ava headed down to the great hall for breakfast by herself.

As she arrived to the Great Hall, she sat down at the Gryffindor table and started eating. He barn owl, Mazie, came flying down with a letter from her parents attached to it. As she was reading the letter and eating her oatmeal, she felt someone sit down next to her. The person grabbed her face and she was met with the familiar soft lips she was introduced too in the previous night.

"Well hello," she laughed, pulling out of the kiss.

"I thought that was a proper way to give my favorite girl a hello," Draco smiled at her. He added, "Don't tell my mum I said that."

Ava laughed and said, "Don't worry I would never dream of it."

"So what are you doing down here all alone?" Draco asked, petting Mazie's head and then grabbing an apple from the center of the table.

"Ginny was still asleep when I was headed down for breakfast, so I didn't want to wake her up. Plus, I was hoping to get some one on one time with my favorite guy. But, don't tell my father or any of my brothers that either," she said. They both laughed. They were going in for another kiss when Ava heard her name being called from a familiar voice. Her little sister Cassidy was running towards her.

"Ava! There you are! I've been looking everywhere for you! I got my first mark back from my classes!" She exclaimed, bounding in between Draco and Ava as soon as she got close enough.

"Oh yeah? Let me see that," Ava grabbed the sheet out of her sisters hand. "Look at that! What class is this for?"

"Charms. It's definitely my favorite class! Professor Flitwick actually lets us use magic! Isn't that awesome. Unlike that foul teacher, Professor Umbridge." Then Cassidy made a fake "throwing up" face.

Trying to avoid and keep her sister from trash talking a teacher (despite whether or not she agreed), Ava changed the subject, "You should send that to Justin. It's his favorite subject too! Or you should find Alex, he loved charms then too."

"Then? Why doesn't he like it now?"

Ava hesitated, sort of at a loss for words. Once her older brother Alex hit puberty and discovered girls, he was no longer entertained by school.

Before Ava could answer, Cassidy interrupted Ava's thoughts when she said, "Who the heck are you?"

Based on his expression, her abruptness scared him. But then, Ava found herself at a loss for words once more. She thought to herself, 'what am I supposed to say? Is he my boyfriend now?' She started to say, "Uhhh, he's..., he's my..-" It seemed even Draco was waiting to see what she was going to say. But, his curiosity was diminished when Cassidy interrupted once more.
