The next morning, Ava woke up snuggled next to her boyfriend. It took her a moment to recall the events of last night.
It was the Malfoy New Years Eve party, and Ava and Draco finally slept together. Thinking everything would have been different after, she was completely wrong. The last twelve hours had been a pure bliss. Things had only gotten better. She could feel their love growing stronger and Ava could no longer imagine spending her life without this man she loved, supporting her through it.
She looked towards her sleeping boyfriend, and could feel the happiness radiating between them. Sensing that someone was looking at him, Draco started opening his eyes, fluttering his lashes like butterfly wings and stretching out.
"Well good morning love," he smiled at her, planting a kiss on the top of her head.
Leaning over him to get a good look at the black clock with green lettering, Ava said, "It's not really morning anymore babe."
Draco strained his head in the direction of the Slytherin themed clock and said, "Blimey, we slept in until eleven o'clock?" Rubbing his eyes, he turned back towards her and pulled her closer to him. Ava rested her head on his warm chest, listening to the beat of his heart. Pulling the covers towards her neck, she covered her bare chest.
"It's so quiet here."
"That's because there aren't nine other children running around here," he half-laughed.
"It's very dangerous."
"Dangerous?"
"No one's here to stop us from doing anything," she said, craning her neck to kiss him. Giving him light kisses along his jaw line, trailing down his bare body, she started going underneath the comforter, when Draco suddenly pushed the covers down and whispered fast, "Act asleep."
Confused, she listened. And then she heard a knock at the door, followed by the sound of it opening. She felt Draco lift the cover up so it covered her shoulders.
"Draco- are you guys awak-," Narcissa said, but then was interrupted by a "sshh."
Speaking, Draco said, "She's still asleep." Looking at the reflection of the window, Ava could see everything. She saw Draco point down at where she was laying, which adhered to Narcissa making an "o" shape with her mouth.
"Okay, well the house elves made lunch. Or I suppose your breakfast."
"We'll be down by noon Mum,"
Narcissa hesitated, swept her gaze around the room, nodded, and head out the door.
Letting out a huge breath, Ava started to get up.
"Where do you think you are going?"
"Showering, Draco,"
"We were about to be in the middle of something,"
Shooting him a look and then smirking, Ava threw back the covers and started running towards the bathroom that was connected to Draco's bedroom. Draco jumped up as well, almost at the same time, and ran after her. Before she reached the door, he caught up with her, wrapping his arms around her, causing her to start scream laughing. He dragged her towards the bed, pulling her under the covers with him, entirely in a world of their own.

"Good Morning Narcissa," Ava said cheerfully as she reached the dining room.
Draco and her hadn't even made it all the way downstairs before Lucius had appeared out of nowhere, whisking Draco away.
"Morning, dear. Sleep well?"
